Vistiji in his lecture on longevity mentions the principle of Ak being in 1,3,7,9 and hence the soul deciding the longevity . He mentions that 8L then in kendra gives middle ,in panapara short and in apoklima long life . However , Sanjayji in his lecture on longevity and vriddhas mentions that 8L in this spl case gives increase in life compartment when in kendras or konas. 5H will always be a panapara and 9H apoklima. So my query is which position of 8L gives increase in life span or decrease in the same for this particular principle. Also , for ascendants which have lagna and 8L same , what should be done? I have a particular case that has libra ascendant and AK is in 9H . I would be glad if you could explain the above principle using this chart.
