Dear Swee,

You are very correct in your line of

thinking. The Garuda Purana does list details of the serpants and various

mantras for relieving one from (a) snake bites, (b) relief from dreams etc

related to snakes, © Poison of all kinds, (d) there are also supernatural

snakes that are to be feared the most. The last part are seen in charts alone

with Sarpa Yoga, Kala Sarpa Yoga etc. The persons brn wth this have to suffer

and the protection comes form Sri Garuda no doubt. But without Bhagavan bhakti

it is doubted if the garuda mantras will work. So do advise at least one mala

of yuga/maha mantra before the Garuda and other special mantras are started.

Dear Sanjayji,

 

A technical Q

here on GÄruá¸i VidyÄ.

Both Varaha

and Garuda Puranas state that serpents will not trouble a person who chants the

Garuda Mantra or wear Gaurda’s mandala.

Do you think its

mantra is useful in the case where one’s chart is afflicted by the nodes,

especially in the case where Rahu is in marana sthana (poisons) and where Sarpa

Yogas are formed (Rasi or Navamsa)?

Likewise, a

mandala in the case of a chart where required. In the same context, because the

part of Balasura that was taken by Garuda became Emeralds, then cancer or

deadly diseases caused by Rahu can be quelled with the use of an emerald. (My

assumption).

In VRA, you’ve

given ( different) remedies for both Rahu (Rama) and Ketu (Viṣṇu).

 

Just thinking

aloud and would appreciate your opinion.
