OHM SHRI RAGAVENDRAYA NAMAH

JAYA JAGANNATHA

Pranam Gurudeva,

Thanks for the wonderful lesson. I think the previous lessons are

preliminaries and this one is the real start of educative and thought

provoking lessons. We have to roll our sleeves and work hard.

We need sometime to read, re-read, read other texts and think on so many

questions before answering. So, please bear with us until then.

Meanwhile, some quick observation in my chart. Although, all the standard

texts quotes that Jupiter dasa if placed in kendra, kona and 3rd & 11th

house is good for the native, I have been through a terrible and hard to

tolerate Jupiter dasa. I wondered so many times that even if we consider

that Jupiter is the functional malefic, how can these be so sever for

Jupiter dasa. Then, I was little bit satisfied with your rule of

understanding the dasa - antardasa - pratyandardasa results from Sun -

Moon - Lagna. But, still it was not fully convincing.

But, now as per this lesson, my Jupiter is in a very very bad shape, he can

even cause death or taking to near death. He is lord of 2nd and 11th placed

in 3rd house. Sun in 10th house and Moon in 4th house.

As per the para no. 1.4 of the lesson, Jupiter is in 6th from Sun and 12th

from Moon. As per para 3.2.2.4, the first rate benefic Jupiter is retrograde

and placed in 3rd house and aspected by malefics Mars and Sun by rasi

drishti. As per para no. 3.2.3, Saturn is in lagna and Jupiter is in 3rd

house of Marana sthana.

But the saviors of arishta and balarishta are the Lagna lord in lagna (para

3.3.2), strong moon (exalted, Krishna paksha Dwitiya)(para 2.1) and Mercury

which is placed in a kendra aspects Jupiter (para 3.3.1). I do not consider

the aspect of Venus on Lagna (rasi drishti) and on Jupiter (Graha drishti)

as Venus is the 9th lord in the Bathak house. (as per your recent mail).

My mother used to tell me that I had problems immediately after the birth

and I didn't cry for 3 days, which was considered by the doctors as a danger

at that time.

Thanks

Your sisya

Solai Kannan
