Guest guest
Jaya Jagannatha Namaskara, dear Yasomatinandana, ... quoting a message of Yasomatinandana das ... Yd> which substances correspond to the semen layer (one of the seven layers) Yd> in a female body. I especially ask this question in connection with the Yd> principle of brahmacarya or retention of semen and raising it to the Yd> brain by which the great rishis achieved extraordinary powers. Is it Yd> apllicable in the same scheme to the female bodies? This is the opinion of a Vaidya: €€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€ The corresponding term for semen (SHUKRA) in female body is the follicular tissues in the ovary (the graafian follicle), or ARTHAVA in Ayurvedic term. It cannot be controlled naturally or retention of Ovulation in female body is not possible naturally. That is the reason why they are menestruating regularly which should be also. Some artificial methods are available which are harmful for the female body which many females are practising to accomodate material and sexual comforts. Actual Brahmacharya in female means observing celibacy, following relegious and also spiritual methods, attaining SADHVI status through this. Hence it cannot be applicable to female bodies.
