Guest guest
are Rama Krsna! Dear jyotisha, What are the factors which delineate psychic abilities, 'the 3rd eye', in one's chart? Influences of Ketu on 8th house or 2nd house? How can one see if a person has the ability to have these powers by nature or are there particular ways to develop them? Any Vedic remedies to attain such powers? I have attached my chart for those that would like to have a look if I have a tendency towards developing the '3rd eye'. For those that have my chart already, please note there is a considerable time change, as I have concluded that the time given in my birth certificate must be more accurate than what my parents always have been telling me. Take the time to be quite accurate, I spent some time on rectification. I will send a couple of charts from practicing channelers with the next message. For the time being I would like to see what you are coming up with in regard to my chart. All reactions are welcome. Guest guest
Namaste, Your chart is good for gaining these abilities that you seek, but at the same time it is very dangerous for attracting destructive/negative energies. The trines are where these psychic talents arise, as the trines are the mind. Therefore the D-1, D-9, D-20, AL and Karakamsa trines are what must be looked at. According to Parasar malefics in trines to Karkamsa give abilities in mantra, yantra and tantra. Jaimini further states that malefics in trines to swamsa and Arudha Lagna also gives these abilities. This combined with Parasara's designation of the 5th and 9th houses for mantra/puja/japa shows that these are the houses and charts that must be looked at. The trines are also the houses that have to do with the intelligence and mind. Performance of the activities related to these houses will directly increase or decrease the mental perception and faculties, which will eventually sharpen the mind so that divine perception will be gained. Performing mantra, japa and worship of deites are the best methods. With your chart you should not attempt to gain any abilities through the contact of dead spirits. There are other ways in which to develop divine vision. There are sattwic mantras that can be dones. I have given a few below for development of divine sight, and I have given an illustration below of a person I know who has developed his abilities as a consequence of his puja. The channeling of spirits is very dangerous, especially due to some of the positions in your chart. With your Moon conjunct Rahu and Saturn in your 9th house it is almost certain that some problems will befall you through any practices that involve contacting dead spirits. Please do not try to do any channeling now during your Rahu subcycle. If possible avoid any people who do channeling. Your Rahu is giving a very strong desire to do so, as it is placed with Saturn in Pisces in the the 9th, and 5th from AL, giving desire to attract/worship spirits, and in Capricorn navamsa. It is placed in the graha Arudha of Mars, the 5th lord of mantra. The 5th house is significant as it represents mantra, yantra, and other methods of spiritual/psychic disciplines. Therefore you will try during this Rahu cycle to do mantras or other psychic methods. However these are currently represented by Rahu, which has a very bad placement in your chart. Sarvath Chintamini 13 38: " If Saturn influences the 5th house the native worships some spirit of the dead & takes his abode in a burning ghat. If Rahu or Ketu are there the devata worshipped is one that harms others. " Rahu conjunct the Moon is very dangerous for possession, especially in the 12th, 5th or 8th house. You have it in the 5th house from Arudha lagna conjoined your 8th lord. The conjunction of the Atmakaraka Saturn worsens things. Rahu in Pisces and Rahu in the 9th are both indicative of the curse of a Brahmin, especially in the company of Saturn. Moreover your Rahu goes into the Capricorn navamsa which shows mental disturbances from spirits. So this period will make you very susceptible to the attraction of negative energies into your life, as there are already negative forces at work against you due to the curse. The following stanza pertains to you, as the 8th lord is forming this combination, as is the 3rd lord from AL. Moreover the 3rd house, and 8th from AL are receiving the aspects of these planets. Sarvath Chintamini 8 35. " If Moon is located in the 8th house along with Rahu and Saturn & is weak in Paksha strength i.e. it is located within 72 degrees from the Sun... Moon in such a condition gives trouble from the souls of the dead... " The following stanza also pertain, as although these planets are not in the ascendant proper, they are in trines to your ascendant, AL and are in Chandra lagna, and Atmakaraka lagna. SC 2 88. " If Saturn is in the Ascendant and is with Rahu, the trouble is from a Pischaach i.e. a bad dead soul. " Brihat Parasara Hora Sastra provides a wealth of information regarding the conjunction of planets in the chapters regarding the effects of dasas. During the dasa-antardasas, the planets form a temporary conjunction, due to the energies of the planets dominating at that point. Hence these should be looked at for the effects of permanent conjunctions. BPHS 63 13. " the Moon-Rahu: Danger from snakes, creation of turbulance by evil spirits, weakness of eye sight, confusion of mind. " BPHS 55 73-75. " There will be the creation of disturbances at home and in the agricultural activities by evil spirits... if the Moon is bereft of strength in the 6th, in the 8th, or the 12th from the lord of the Dasha (Rahu). " These misfortune as a result of evil spirits will arise through the houses involved, being the 5th and 9th houses of mantra/spiritual techniques. It is very significant that these planets are in the 9th/5th house, as the trines conjunct malefics is the basic combination for mental disturbance by spirits. That said as a caution, I will explain why your chart is good for achieving divine sight through safer methods. An important dictum in relation to these abilities is the following: BPHS 55 42-42 1/2. There will be Isht Siddhi if Ketu is related to the lord of Ascendant. In your chart, the ascendant lord Moon mutually aspects Ketu fulfilling the requirement. This relationship maintains in the Navamsa. Ketu is also a lord of your AL. You have Saturn as Atmakaraka well placed in Pisces vargottama. From the Karakamsa, there are 3 planets in the trines giving natural psychic abilities. Ketu is well placed, being in the 6th from Amatyakarka under the aspect of Jupiter and Moon. Although Saturn is vargottama, he get conjunction of his worst enemy Sun in karakamsa, and the aspect of enemy Mars. This again points to a danger with Saturn, as the combination with the Sun indicates a curse from departed dead spirits (BPHS 83 95) and the aspect of a malefic Mars on two malefics in the karakamsa ascendant points to difficulties and negative energies that will arise through the practice of tantric abilities related to Saturn/Sun. (BPHS 33 76) In this case Saturn is the primary danger, as he is also in the trines from lagna/AL. So Ketu is the direction your should go to develop your abilities. He is moksha karaka especially in your case as he is in the 6th from Amatyakaraka only under benefic influence. Note that he also aspects the 12th from Karakamsa. He makes a yoga with your lagna lord giving Isht Siddhi, a relationship which continues in the Navamsa chart. Ketu also aspects Navamsa lagna. Ketu owns the 5th house of Mantra, and aspects the 5th house from AL. Mantra pada is in Leo with Jupiter, and the 5th house itself is under only benefic aspects, except for Rahu. So Sattwic Mantras and spiritual twchniques can be done successfully. In order to SAFELY develop your abilities, you should do puja related to Ketu's incarnations, such as Ganesha. Stick only to this, and avoid anything to do with Rahu, or Rahu type activites, such as spirit channelers. This will only strengthen Rahu, thereby severely afflicting your Atmakaraka, Moon and Ascendant, and bringing difficulties to your life. The practice of mantra and pooja in general will act to purify the mind and allow for clearer vision. This is well illustrated with an example. There is a person I know who became a Sanyasi at an early age and began practising mantra and meditation for hours every day. He is now able to sometimes see both significant past events and future when meeting some people and coming to houses or buildings. He can also usually tell the first syllable of a person's name upon meeting them, and their lagna. His intuition is incredible... it is too bad that he is not an astrologer. All of these are abilities that he has gained unintentionally through the mental discipline associated with the mantras. In his chart Ketu is in the 9th and mutually aspecting the lagna lord and Moon through rasi dristi. AL has Ketu in it, which gives great spiritual and mental abilities. He has Jupiter in the 3rd, and Mercury/Sun in the 6th from AL giving his renunciation. In regards to divine vision here are three mantras. I would recommend the one to Vishnu, as in your chart, the lagna lord goes into the 9th with Saturn aspected by Vishnu clearly indicating a devotee of Vishnu. Further, Mercury is in the 9th house of Swamsa, and aspects the Moon in Saturn's sign in the 12th from Karakamsa, which gives worship of Krishna and Vishnu. " Om tat Vishnoh paramam padam sadaa pashyanti suurayah diviiva caksuraa tatam " translates " Om Vishnu, who always sees the light of wisdom, give us Divine eyes " " Om bhuur bhuvah svaha tat savitur varenyam bhargo devasya dhiimahi dhiyo yo nah pracodayaat " " Om the Infinite beyond conception, the gross, subtle and causal body; we meditate upon that light of wisdom which is the supreme wealth of the Gods. May it grant us increase in our meditations. " " Om yajjaagrato duuramudeti daivam tadu suptasya tathaivaiti duurangamam jyotisaam jyotirekam tanme manah shiva sankalpamastu " " May our waking consciousness replace pain and suffering with divinity as also our awareness when asleep. Far extending be our radiant aura of light, filling our minds with light. May that be the firm determination of Shiva. " There is also another method called Tratak, which involves staring into the flame of a candle or fire for long periods of time. Eventually you will be able to see events by looking into the flame. For example if you think of a person, you will see what they are doing at that time. This is because Agni is the element that is the divine vision. Guest guest
Hare Rama Krsna. Dear Alex, Thank you very much for your elaborate explanation. Indeed, I'm a devotee of Krsna and doing meditation on the Hare Krsna maha-mantra for at least 2 hours a day. The first 2 mantras you gave I knew already, being a brahmin engaged in deity worship, and I am already chanting these ones. I only didn't know these can be used for developing divine seeing power. Of course, the mantras themselves declare it. My intention was never to engage myself in channeling spirits of the dead, I got interested in the subject by hearing from a couple of channelers who are in contact with extra-terrestrial beings like Ashtar and Sananda/Jesus Christ. I got the date of Jesus' birth through them. So my intention is to develop my divine eyes to come in contact with them and other divine angelic beings. They are familiar with the works of Edgar Cayce. If you want to find out more, please check my webpage: http://www.geocities.com/dvdd1008/Jyotisha.html As for your analysis of my chart, I appreciate it very much. I only get some other dashas because of using Raman's ayanamsa, but your comments seem to be very correct. As promised, I will give here the charts of the 2 channelers I'm in contact with. They are both ladies and remarkable is that Ketu is in 8th house for both. Guest guest
Namaste, Thanks for your kind words and for the charts, they are invaluable, I would appreciate it if anyone else could provide more of these. The first thing that is noticeable about the two charts is the 12th house from Karakamsa. In both charts, there is a malefic Mars and Saturn conjunction. According to both Parasar and Jaimini this gives worship of malign spirits, which is not recommended by either. I would question whether they would actually be channelling Jesus Christ, as benefics such as Jupiter and Moon should be the planets here to indicate the compassionate avatar of Jesus. Jaimini Sutram 1 80. " If the twelfth from the Karakamsa is owned by a malefic and if Saturn is there, one is devoted to evil spirits. " You can see from the stanza, that this applies to both charts fully. JS 1 81. " If Venus is in such a malefic-owned twelfth house, one is devoted to evil spirits. " In the second chart the 12th from Karakamsa is a sign of Venus with 3 evil planets, including a debilitated Ketu. This house is the house of moksha and the afterlife, and with dire malefics here, the indication is clear. You can also see in both charts that this malefic combination recurs from the ascendant in the rasi chart - in both charts! Mars and Saturn again conjoin or aspect the 12th house or lord. Compound this with the full aspect of these planets in both charts on the 12th from Navamsa lagna and you will find yourself with a situation where all indications about moksha and a peaceful afterlife have been destroyed completely. How would this be possible if they were actually in contact with Jesus, who is very close to the godhead? I would recommend keeping away from association with these people, for the reasons I mentioned when I first analyzed your chart. The negative vibrations from them will cling to you due to the principle of Satsang, and in this way there will be danger to you through spirits. Other features about their charts. The 5th house of mantra/spiritual technique in the first chart is owned by dead soul indicator Saturn placed in the 8th occult sign of Scorpio, the dispositor of which goes into the 12th house and 8th house occult houses, showing the worship of evil spirits. The second chart has a debilitated 5th lord under the aspect of every malefic planet and Venus (JS 1 81), also pointing to the worship of evil spirits. These people may believe they are contacting Jesus and others through their efforts, but the only way to really do so is to follow in the footsteps of saints like Ramakrishna, and perform the necessary discipline, meditation and mantras, and you will eventually gain these abilities. Regarding development of your abilities through mantras, you should read over your texts carefully, and try to understand the implication of each one. It can be very revealing. There are books on Ganehsa puja that you should also read, as you can have success in attracting this type of energy. There are mantras of his that also give various siddhis. Guest guest
Hare Rama Krsna. Dear Visti, Thanks for your analysis. Your data for my chart are a little inaccurate however: let me correct. >Dhira's chart: Date of Birth: May 23, 1968 Time of Birth: 10:20:46 am *** Time Zone of Birth: 1:00 East of GMT *** Longitude of Birth: 3 E 36 Latitude of Birth: 50 N 45 *** - Aqua - >Mercury in 9th doesn't necessarily make him truthful as mercury is neither >benefic nor malefic. Jupiters aspect on Mercury gives him free but good >morals. So a skilled seller of large, prestigous vehicles. > >The 5th from Aqua has Mars, making him a apt at mettalurgy. > >Do/did you own/work at a car factory Dhira? Not at all! Never had anything to do with cars, my father has a car and was sometimes working at it, but never me. I have a driving licence, but that's all. - Pisces - >Navamsa Lagna here produces one born into a royal family, through ones >parents(sun & moon here). Not true either, I was born in very simple family. >Singing, dancing and playing music will be a big part of life as Sun and >Moon are both here. You may have a very nice voice, and good at playing >music. Saturn makes one apt at any profession, however can make one nervous >in a crowd. Sun helps in this regard. This is true, I have nice voice, and interest in playing music, but never really got into it. Somehow I couldn't catch it, maybe due to lack of time (Saturn). >Jupiter in 3rd gives ability to read ancient texts. Yes, that's true, but Jupiter in the 5th also? I have Capricorn lagna in Navamsa. >Mars in 4th gives knowledge of fighting and living in a brick house. As the >combination in lagna aspects Mars the house could be very large. House is large, yes, I live in a castle, but it's not mine! hehe And knowledge of fighting I wouldn't say, did a little Aikido, but gave it up, it was nothing for me, being a peaceful brahmin as I am. >Sun and Ketu in trines to Navamsa lagna and Karakamsa shows some inborn > " white magic " abilities, that would produce prominence in Mantra and >understanding the same, very well. Yes, I know a lot of mantra. Now, using my own ayanamsa of 2 degrees 7 min. 18 sec. subtracted from Lahiri, I get following Navamsa: +----------------------+ | | | BL | | | Moo Rah | | | | | | Sun | Jup | Mar | | Sat | | | | | | | HL | | |-------------|---------------------------|-------------| | | | | | Ven | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |-------------| N A V A M S A |-------------| | | | GL | | | | | | Asc | | Glk | | | | | | | | | |-------------|---------------------------|-------------| | | | | | | | Mer | | | | | | | | | | Mnd | | Ket | | | | | | +----------------------+ Using true nodes, Rahu goes to Pisces and Ketu in Virgo. Now let's have a look at D-20 and D-60 (with true nodes). +----------------------+ | | | | | | | Jup | | | | | | | GL | | Sat | | | | | | | | | |-------------|---------------------------|-------------| | Ven | | | | | | Sun | | BL | | | | | | Asc | | Moo | | | |-------------| D - 2 0 |-------------| | | | | | | | | | Ket | | | | | | | | Rah | | | |-------------|---------------------------|-------------| | Mar | | | | | | | | Mnd | | | | Mer | | | | | | HL | | | | | | +----------------------+ +----------------------+ | | | | | | | | | | | Sun | Asc | | | | | | | | | | | | | |-------------|---------------------------|-------------| | | | | | GL BL | | Mar | | | | | | Ket Sat | | | | | | | |-------------| D - 6 0 |-------------| | | | | | Mer | | Rah | | | | | | HL | | Jup | | | | | |-------------|---------------------------|-------------| | | Ven | | | | | | | | | Mnd | | | | | | | | | | | Moo | | | +----------------------+ The sashtiamsa shows very nicely the curse by a brahmin in the past life. See the guru-chandala yoga in the 5th house, house of mantra. Look how Moon and Mars + Jupiter and Sun are exchanging signs. Jupiter becomes vighati graha and also appears in rasi in Leo. Moon in the 8th (also in D-20 aspected by 9th lord Jupiter) indicates the knowledge of occult sciences in the past life also. And Mercury in kulagnamsa in the 10th may indicate that I squandered the wealth of my father or cheated (as you said about my Navamsa) with the practise of my knowledge. Any further insights?
