Hi Visti,

May I ask for an explanation of this reasoning? I would have thought the

opposite, based on Parashara's teachings (BPHS 14:2). On the other hand, the

are other serious afflictions denying younger siblings.

 

1. Third Lord is in Rashi Sandhi in an enemy's sign.

2. Third Lord gets the Rashi Drishti of Rahu-Ketu, and Graha Drishti of a

retrograde Saturn.

3. Third from Chandra Lagna aspected by a retrograde Saturn, into his

debilitation sign.

4. Third Lord from Chandra Lagna, and naisargika bhratri karaka, Mars,

happens to be debilited and retrograde, in the sixth from Chandra. He is

also afflicted by retrograde Saturn.

5. Chara Bhratri karaka Moon is aspected by Rahu and Mars by Graha Drishti,

and by Mars and Saturn by Rashi Drishti. So there is serius affliction.

 

So I agree that there are serious astrological afflictions indicating the

denial of younger siblings. But I'm lost when it comes to understanding why

the aspect of Jupiter on his own house destroys it. I'd be grateful if you

could explain.

Dear List, Namaste.

 

As a test of faith in Bhagavan, I'm going to try make sense of my Fathers chart in the matters of Siblings and Children.

 

I've attached the chart specifics bellow.

 

- Siblings -

Moon is Bhatrikaraka.

 

My father is the youngest of 5 children i.e. being the 5th.

The births in order of appearance are: Male-Female-Male-Male-Him.

 

+ Rasi +

3rd lord is Jupiter and is in Virgo, with view on Rahu and Ketu, which all aspect the 3rd house making him the youngest, as 3rd lord aspects 3rd house, taking the stand of being his own.

Rath: "3rd lord aspects 3rd house, taking the stand of being his own." What is this stuff?? If third lord aspects the third, then it is good for the third house. Why the reverse?

Keep in mind that the nodes have lost their strength to deny younger siblings, due to Jupiters aspect, and yet the younger siblings are denied due to Jupiters aspect on own house.

Rath: No logic at all. Ketu in the third can cause denial of younger co-born. This is true from AL.

Arudha Lagna is in an odd sign, and the 3rd therefrom (Sag) is occupied by Ketu, which indicates younger sisters, yet is aspected by Jupiter which also owns Sag, and thus denies younger siblings.

Rath: You should add Chandala Yoga as a Duryoga denying the co-born. Guru-Chandala Yoga causes Manushya hatya.

11th from AL is unoccupied and unaspected, whilst it lord(Sun), is conjoined with Retro-Merc and Venus in Scorpio, and aspected by retro-Mars, and retro Saturn from Cancer. Saturn and Mars junctions indicate female births, yet they are both retrogade, and Mars is debilitated, giving 2 male births. Mercury also indicates Male birth, as Venus indicates female.

Rath: 4 planets conjoin/aspect 11L from AK. Hence 4 is easy to explain. Mars & Mercury are Males while saturn & venus should give females. However the conjunction of Sun alters this Venusian female to a male.

So 4 elder siblings are indicated.

 

I hope my method of counting is acceptible.

Drekkana Lagna is Virgo(even), so siblings are seen in reverse Mandooka Ghati.

 

4th(Sc): Immediate elder sibling is lorded by Mars(stronger than Ketu), and is retro-debilitated, thus indicatig male birth, as its also conjoined Sun and is thus male.

Rath: Conjunction will dominate; other factors are secondary.

 

3rd(Cp): Next elder sibling is lorded by Capricorn which is in Cancer conjoined the before mentioned combination and is thus also male.

Rath: Cancer also gives male births and Saturn conjoins both male planets.

2nd(Pi): Next elder sibling is lorded by Pisces, as its lord(Jup) is in Taurus thus indicating Female sibling.

Rath: What about Parivartana Yoga which we discussed earlier? Due to parivartana, the indications of Venus will be stronger and this can indicate a male as Venus is exalted in Pisces. However, since Venus conjoins debilitated Mercury, the effect of the conjunction will further dominate over the placement of Venus to show a female.

1st(Ta): Taurus is occupied by Lord of 2nd sibling, so we move to Cancer, which is also occupied by lords of 4th and 3rd sibling. The next sign in Mandooka Ghati is Leo, whose lord is in Cancer indicating Male Siblings.

Rath: No need to move away from Taurus. All the arguments we gave for Pisces giving a female will be reversed due to the Parivartana and a male shall be indicated.

It may be inferred that he was educated in Medicine, and worked for some in the hospital business, where he met his wife. Today he's retired and travels frequently to distant countries, with his wife.

 

Please clarify. All of the siblings(my father as well) neglected their fathers occupation, which was farming, and became (1) Doctors, (2) Married to a rich husband, (3) Government advisory, (4) Sergeant in the Military and later director of Carlsberg(beer factory).

Rath: Let us see:

Eldest co-born: Male - Pisces; Venus+ Merc

Next Sister: Female - Taurus; Jupiter Among all, she will be richest-Jupiter is Karaka for husband and is in Venus sign, hence due to marriage.

Next: Male - Sun+Saturn

Next: Male -Sun+ Mars

Does this explain?

Because I've listened to bad astrologers.

Your other answers make sense as well, for some reason I didn't notice the Parvartana.

 

As for the counting, should we take 11th from Atmakaraka to see elder siblings, only or should we confirm it elsewhere as well?

 

I could understand that any births that come before the soul(AK) should be seen from AK. And Arudha Lagna should be seen form births after ones physical manifestation, or the maya surrounding it. Hence Children and younger siblings shouldn't be seen from AK??
