Thanks for the chart. Based on the three planetary positions, my estimate about Saturn in Marana Karaka position was right bringing the focus on the 10 & 11 houses plus Ketu as 8th Lord in 11th. Why do you attribute chronic disease to sixth Lord Mercury and not to Ketu's affliction as 8th Lord (Rogesha is cause of chronic disease). With Mercurial affliction by Ketu, the specific dictum of Jaimini- damage to the bones and breaking away of the bones is true and the focus shifts from ears to legs.

Narasimha's approach from Lagna about Majja is right, and Robert is brilliant..on the dot. But why didn't you all consider the 8th Lord for chronic diseases?

Pranaam Sanjay,I am attaching the chart as a .jhd file at the end as you asked.Namaste Brendan,I am still struggling to formulate reliable methods to diagnosemedical situations using just the horoscope. At this point, I do nothave any reliable methods that always work. My knowledge of medicalastrology is still in the formative stage. But I will make a quickattempt.This native has a strong Mars in Aries lagna. He has a lot of pitta.Debilitated Saturn afflicts Mars and Rahu has a very close planetaryaspect on Mars. Thus problems in majja dhatu (marrow ruled by Mars)are possible. In fact, Mars is afflicted by nodes in both D-6 andD-30. In all the charts I have seen so far with Mars afflicted bynodes in D-6, problems of the nervous system are there. So I wouldexpect problems of the nervous system and marrow. Anger, irritability,too much pitta in brain, stress, headaches like migraine and othernerve pains are possible.Why did Mercury dasa give it? Because Mercury is the 6th lord in A8.Moreover, reckoning Vimsottari dasa from lagna rather than Moon, weget Rahu dasa from the same time.
