Guest guest
Om Gurave NamahDear Frank, Good observation. For example, I give this dictu from Jaimini sutra "IF EVEN ONE UPAGRAHA IS PLACED IN THE NINTH HOUSE, THEN IT SHALL GIVE GOOD FORTUNE". How do we time this in Vimsottari??!! That is not hard if you apply yourself slightly. Best wishes Sanjay Rath - Frank in Austin varahamihira Thursday, March 22, 2001 6:09 AM [Jaya Jagannath] UpaGrahas Om Japaakusumasa.nkaashaM kaashyapeyaM mahadyutimtamo.ariM sarvapaapaghnaM praNato.asmi divaakaram Namaste, Can one tell from a persons' experience or condition ( without looking at one's chart) if a specific ( or collectively) Upagraha is responsible for a situation or action? Typically Upgahas are associated with Sani or Yama and the negative side of an experience, yet in BPHS chapt. 27 , well placed Upagraha looks like they can be favorable. Comments on this? We know which 1/8th portion of each day are owned by which grahas. If the dasa/antardasa period is divided into 8 periods, which can find out when the appropriate graha would have influence based on the start day of the dasa. So, maybe we can time it in vimsottari dasa in this way. Could you please tell me if I am on the right track? your sishya, ajit -- Ajit Krishnan ajit http://publish.uwo.ca/~ajit
Guest guest
Om Gurave NamahDear Ajit, Upagrahas give results during the periods of their dispositors if they are not conjoined or aspected by any planet (here check for Graha dristi). something like the nodes, but different as they do not have their own dasa. Best Wishes Sanjay Rath - Ajit Krishnan varahamihira Thursday, March 29, 2001 9:31 AM Re: [Jaya Jagannath] UpaGrahas OM namo narayanayaDear Gurudeva,Sanjay Rath wrote:<snipped>> Om Gurave Namah> Dear Frank,> Good observation.
