Dear Sanjay Rath, Thank you for your reply. >Mother abandoned yopu because of your father and fathers family...Moon is >in the ninth in D-60. I see, Scorpio lagna is right. A further rectification can then be done with the help of vighati graha and lagna. In D-60 either Ketu or Mercury can give the lagna of this life by regression of 1 sign, i.e. Cancer. I have found Ketu to be the right vighati graha and have obtained it with the time of 10:19:12 am. From sunrise to birthtime is 5 hours 28 min 50 sec.; changed into degrees and multiplied by 5 and by 60 gives the number of vighati's passed since sunrise (I took the edge of Sun, is that right?). Expunging multiples of 9 gives the vighati graha and expunging multiples of 12 the vighati lagna, which then falls at 13:52:43 Taurus, having added the remainder to the Sun's degrees. In Shastiamsa it comes in Leo, which has Mercury, the dispositor of Ketu. And also in rasi chart Mercury is the dispositor of Ketu. I take this time to be quite accurate, as it also shows the dashas to be correct. E.g. vimsottari dasha at time of marriage was Ve-Ke-Me-Ra-Me. Ketu antardasha because Ketu is in 7th from UL, also in Navamsa Ketu is 7th from Venus in Navamsa lagna. Mercury is the rasi dispositor, Rahu is in the UL in rasi chart and is also in Navamsa lagna. Mercury is also the jiva, as all planets in UL are in naksatra of Mercury. Besides, Jupiter is in naksatra of Ketu and Ketu itself in naksatra of Moon, the lagna lord. For nightbirth, do we take the number of vighati's passed from sunset or can it be calculated also from sunrise the previous day? If calculated from sunset, is my understanding right it will be when Sun transits the cusp of the 10th house from sunrise? Guest guest
Om Gurave NamahDear Dhira Krishna Prabhu, Absolutely perfect and your understanding about calculating from sunset is right for Vighati Graha, not Vighati Lagna. Keep this in mind. How is ketu that caused your birth placed in the chart? Since it gave you marriage, then this marriage is an important event for this life. What else does Ketu indicate? study this personally. i end here.
