Guest guest
Dear respected Sanjay and others, Putting together the points you have raised about timing events considering the drekkana position of a planet, please let me try one example to see if I have the concept correctly. Taking the chart of the triplets recently posted by Solai Message #5237, the event is the death of the third triplet on Mar 10 2001. I am using the chart for the first birth of the oldest triplet at 11:52 am Aug 7 2000. (78E7 9N56) The loss of his littlest brother occurred in Ju/Me/Ke. Jupiter is in the second drekkana of Taurus. Therefore its " good " results happen after the first third of Ju dasha, i.e. after five and a third years of Ju dasha have elapsed. Indeed, his brother's death occurred near the end of the first third, at 5.1 years of Jup. dasha. Jupiter is in Taurus, a prishtodaya sign (back end rising). According to COVA, these malefic pristodaya signs would, in the first third of the dasha, give the results of planets aspecting the dasanath. The aspects would fructify first from the benefics, then from the malefics. Dasanath Jupiter is conjunct Saturn and gets rashi drishtis from four other planets including malefics Mars, and Sun. As to the precise timing of the event, Ketu occupies the third house of younger siblings. Ju is Ketu's deha. Ketu is the pratyantar lord. Ketu is situated 96% of the way into its drekkana. Jupiter dasha had completed 96% of the first bhagi. Is this a right way to use the quantifications Parashara speaks of as mentioned by Frank in BPHS ch 49? gratefully yours, Sat Siri K
