I will assume looking at the Karakamsa and the 12 from it to see if Ketu resides there is one one indication that a person may in fact attain SELF - (Kaivalya) realization. Thus, using Drig Dasa for timing of this event would then be used... Are there other clear Graha positions that we can look to, to indicate the unfoldment of Kaivalya? There are many indications of spirituality we can point to in a chart, yet in the final analysis , its the SELF realizing it SELF by it SELF that is of greatest importance to a person's true progress and to the development of the family of man. What are your thoughts here? Pranams, Frank In Austin/ fschmidt Visti Larsen [vlarsen]Friday, March 02, 2001 3:28 AMvarahamihira Subject: Sv: [Jaya Jagannath] Shoola Dasa Dear Frank, namaste. The Shoola Dasa is used to messure the punishment of Shiva, as Shiva rules the Panaparas, showing the end of self, but spiritual realisations are to be timed from other sources, as they are advancements of the soul not punishment. Because of this understanding we cannot time death of a saint, using the above principles, as they die at own will, not at the mercy of Shiva. Drig Dasa is used to time spiritual realiations of any kind, and should be combined with Narayana Dasa of Vimsamsa(D-20). Hope this helps.
