Guest guest
Durgam devim saranam aham prapadye! Jay jagannatha, This is my first messages(answers) to the lesson. kindly go through the text and rectify the mistakes. <1. Why do the five planets have lordship of two houses whereas the luminaries have ownership of one house only? The zodiac of 360^ degrees is divided into two parts of 180 degrees each viz., dakshinayana and uttarayana whose lordship is conferred on Surya and Chandra respectively. dakshinayana starts from leo and ends in capricorn and the uttarayana starts from aquarius and ends in cancer. The ayanas are further divided into six rasis of 30^ degrees. The first part in each ayana is ruled by the ayana ruler itself. viz., cancer is the first part (anti clockwise)in the dakshinayana and ruled by moon .Leo is the first part in the uttarayana and ruled by sun. The other planets Budha, Sukra, kuja, Guru and saturn has the rulership of the next parts in the order of their proximity from the sun. Since the luminaries (surya and chandra) has the rulership of the ayana part, they have only one rulership of the part in the ayana, while the other planets have two sign-rulerships . In total the king and queen(Sun and moon) have divided the zodiacal country and conferred the rulership of the parts to the remaining planets, the deciding factor of which sign to whom is based on the proximity from the sun to the respective planets. <2. Determine the ayana of the planets in the horoscope of a native born on 7th August 1963 at 9:15 PM IST at 21N28, 84E01 (Sambalpur India) The planets in the uttarayana are :Moon, Jupiter, Rahu, Venus, and sun. The planets in the dakshinayana are: Mercury, Mars, Ketu and Saturn <3. Determine the Ayana of the Moon in your horoscope and also the days after your birth when the Moon changed the ayana. In my horoscope, moon is in the sagittarius, hence belongs to the dakshinayana. The moon changed the ayana after 3 days, viz., 12-10-1978 at 6 h 55 m. a.m. ( the exact time is derived with the help of Jagannatha Hora software) <4. Attempt to explain the Mantra given inside the Bha Chakra. In the south indian chart, the mantra is Om Houm Jum Sa which is known as the mrityunjaya mantra. In the surya chakra, the mantra is Om Kleem Shreem hreem. That consists of pranava (Om), Kamabeeja (Kleem) Shree beeja (shreem) and Mayabeeja or bhuvaneshvari beeja Hreem. <5. Derive the order of the weekdays from the order of the seven Dwipa. Is there any correlation between the speed of the planets and the seven Hora's? <6. What are the Drisya and Adrisya signs? What do they imply? The part of the zodiac from the exact sapthama bhava (7th bhava) point to the exact lagna bhava point are the dhrisya part of the zodiac while the other part is known as adrisya signs. The rasis from Lagna to the sixth house are in the invisible hemisphere (Adrisya Rasi) whereas the signs from the Seventh house to the twelfth house are visible (Drisya Rasi).
