OHM SHRI RAGAVENDRAYA NAMAH

JAYA JAGANNATHA

Pranam Gurudeva,

You have asked only Gurus to respond, but, I am making my attempt please correct me.

1. I couldn't find the exact date of the start of the Kaliyuga. As you have mentioned in your Brahmavidya article, there are different dates available. As per the article given in the below web page the Kaliyuga is started in 3101 BC

http://www.hindunet.org/hindu_history/ancient/mahabharat/mahab_vartak.html

Apart from this if we calculate backward from the calculation given by you in the Brahma vidya article. The present chakra ended in 2000 was started in 800 AD, then deducting 1200 we get 400 BC and further deducting 1200, we get 1600 BC and next is 2800 and the next is 4000 BC. So, as per this the the given dates of 3102 BC, 3101 BC, 900 BC, 600 BC are not falling nearer either to 2800 or 4000 BC.

2. Because, of the above confusion, I considered the Ahargana. As per Mr.C.G.Rajan's one book, it is mentioned in Surya siddandha, that the Shrishti was completed on a day, when, Sun was the lord of the year, month and day. Similar combination happened on 30th September 1798 AD. No. of days elapsed since the date of shrishti until 30th Sep. 1798 is 7,14,40,40,86,200. From 30th Sep. 1798 to 1st Jan 2000 is 73506 days. From this we can calculate the No. of days passed since shrishti for a given birth date.

Please, correct me.

Thanks

Your sisya

Solai Kannan
