Astu tejasvi nau adhétam astu Dear Sanjay ji , I have been reading a few of your writings and a doubt has arisen in my mind. Ref: In JD article second part on Karm vipaka,Editors note page 62. you have commented on Namah sivaya mantra calling it panchakshri. You have repeated the same Dhyan as given in VRA. You give different mantra for Nyas for panchakshri mantra and shadaksri. FINE But you say now that only initiated can do the mantra called “shadakshri” .Those who are not initiated are to do “panchakshri.” · Whereas it is commonly understood that “ Om Namah sivaya “ is as a prasiddha mantra implying that every one can do it. But in view of Vacaspati page 29 Of JD jul-sept 2003 panchaksri mantra as prasiddha mantra is without addition of OM.for daily practise · Another place it is stated( JD Jul-sep page 28) “ Om Namah sivaya “ “ It is meant to be recited by the spiritual aspirants who wish to renounce all the fruits of material world”. There is another teaching “namah sivaya “and “sivaya namah “are different and mean different. Namha sivaya is saying I am not, it is you the auspicious you who is all around. Sivaya nama is to be near Siva or request for growing into Siva approaching auspiciousness i.e. self- merging into auspiciousness. If my understanding is correct do you now hold that without initiation “Om namah sivaya” japa should not be done instead “namah sivaya” is permitted. I am also confused about Dhyan. Normally Dhayan associated is “Karpoor gouram karoona vataram …Sahitam navami”.But you are giving different Ddhyan mantra. Please help remove my confusion. As far as i know general masses does not understand and om namah sivya is repeated by most. Also people neither do sankapa nor remember rsi, chanda etc and nyas is out of question.I feel panchaksri strotra recitation could also be a partof Worsip of Siva in both pachaksri ans shadakshri mantra. Awaiting your clarifications on eve of Shivratri . OM TATSAT------------------------R.C.Srivastava------------------------ Oh Creator Of The Universe ! Guest guest
HARE RAMA KRISHNA Dear Guruji, I have same questions, repeated below. 1. You have mentioned Shadakshari Mantra is a prassida mantra even in VRA. But recent article says, to do the Panchakshari, for those who are not initiated to shadakshari. 2. Why rishi nyasa defer for Panchakshari mantra in two JD isues ? 3. Would you reccomend Shadakshari Mantra straight away, for those who are more concern about material life ? Instead, can they chant Panchakshari Mantra for, changing themself with the time ? Hope you remove this darkness from us.
