For movable and dual signs treat the eighth lord as the longevity indicator. This is not clear to me, please clarify.

 

If we take the 8 th lordship as longevity reckoner in Aries Lagna

with Mars in Aries, it comes to Scorpio itself. Hence we take eighth

lord from Scorpio which is Mercury lord of Gemini( 8th from Scorpio)

but you mention Jupiter, lord of Sagittarius?

If Mars is in Pisces in Aries Lagna, 8 th from Mars will be Taurus,

yet you mention Leo??

Dear Sharat, Namaskar

See that the vrddha karika's advise for 8th sign from Scorpio is

Sagittarius. Similarly the advise for Pisces is to take Leo (6th sign).

Read it again thoroughly and you will understanding how it works.
