Thanks much for your reply. Although I feel your case is much

clearer. Because, applying what I understood of Visti's writeup to

your case, wearing a stone for Jupiter will actually strengthen

Jupiter, since it has no conjunctions or parivartans, so that is

clearly good. My only doubt is Jupiter, ruler of 2 in 7, is probably

a first rate maraka, so I would be interested in knowing your

thoughts on that - is it ok to strengthen a maraka or not?

 

In my case, if I wear Saturn's stone, then by the conjunction

principle that Visti wrote about, it will have the effects of Moon,

which I surely dont want. If I wear Moon's stone, then it conjuncts

Saturn and is in parivartan with Jupiter, so I'm not sure which

effect it will have. With Venus's stone, Venus conjuncts Jupiter, so

I'm wondering if it will actually be good for me (Venus mahadasha

has been and continues to be especially challenging, I'm in Ve-Ju

now)..

 

And you're correct, gems do catch the fancy, especially since I read

that Visti said that by offering the right prayers when wearing it,

you permanently imbue it with the right characteristics.. That got

me interested again..

 

Of course, I'm still always interested in Sattwic remedies too, but

my mantra knowledge is very very weak. I would be interested in your

input on that, if you have any..

 

Thanks much again for your input, and also, if you dont mind my

asking, has the Saturn Mars Rahu conjunction in 2nd aspecting 8th

given you primarily financial troubles, or what? Doesnt look like

you would have marital troubles, since you have the protection of

Jupiter in the 7th (you dont have to answer this at all unless you

want to, and pardon me if you feel I'm prying)
