Dear Soul Saadhaka-ji,

namaskar. Thanks for the feedback. Please worship Mother Durgaa (Shakti) along with Siva otherwise where is the balance (Tula) you are talking about? Please imagine Mother standing next to seated Lord Siva when you do your mantras. Lord Siva is meditating on Mother and whatever Lord Siva is doing is through the Shakti only. He doesn't have separate powers. Your Kundalini is also Mother.

Preta Yoga/Dosha is the combination of Mangal with Nodes where the pretas are souls of people died in unnatural accidents. Sani with Surya or Sani with Chandrama can show curse of departed paternal or maternal elders. Here Sani is with Mangal and Rahu afflicting the 2nd house but 2nd lord is strong and does not relate to the 8th house. Neither is Badhaka directly involved. So this is not significant. But the combination is in the adrihsya rasi (invisible half of the zodiac) and hence indicates maternal relatives. Please ensure last rites/Shraddha/Pinda Daana are performed for them and also please perform Rudrabisekam. This is important for you because Rahu/Sani lord the lagna-bhava.
