Guest guest
Dear Mr. Tarun,The question regarding correct Ayanamsa can not be decided by polling, but with the help of proper and sound astronomical knowledge. Astronomers has already identified the accurate position of V.E.Point on the Ecliptic. The question arises how to fix initial point of fixed Zodiac on the ecliptic. All most all the astrologers and panchang makers in Indiaagree that this point should be exactly opposite to Star Chitra. THE ANGULAR DISTANCE BETWEEN THIS FIXED POINT AND V.E.POINT IS CALLED AYANAMSA OF A PARTICULAREPOCH OR ON A DAY.This can be easily be deduced by deducting 56sec. from the value of Lahri's Ayanamsa of the day for present epoch. The scientific definition of Ayanamsa is as under: Value of Ayanamsa=Tropical longitude of Star Chitra - 180 degreesRegards,G.K.GOELTarun Chopra <occult_wizardnaastrology Sent: Sunday, 8 October, 2006 11:07:57 PMnaastrology Tarun Chopra AyanamsaDear MembersI have created a poll In my A<http://www.occultwizard.com/ayanamsha.htm> yanamsa<http://www.occultwizard.com/ayanamsha.htm> section of my web siteI would ask members to pollBest wishesTarun Choprawww.occultwizard.com
