Dear Rosemary, Namaskar.

1. In a helicopter or vehicle the tenth house shows the one in control

or the pilot. We should thus expect the second house (fifth from the

tenth) to show the fortune of pregnancy for the pilot. Observing the

two options of Capricorn and Aquarius, i believe it should be Capricorn

lagna. You can confirm by placing the lagna in trines/seventh to the

natives natal arudha lagna.

>From this tenth house we see that the fifth lords Saturn and Rahu

are

joined Jupiter as Ketu is in the fifth (bleeding). Regardless of any

chara karaka replacement, Rahu will become very evil when we use the

seven-karaka scheme for muhurtas. Also, since the replacement involves

the atmakaraka, it will affect the 'controller' of the aircraft namely

the pilot.

Now, if Moon is the atmakaraka then the pilot will be indicated by the

moon in sixth from lagna and ninth from the tenth house. I do not think

this fits. Instead Saturn as Atmakaraka showing the miscarriage fits

better and affects the progeny directly. So Saturn should be atmakaraka.

2. See the Ketu in fifth from the tenth for the bleeding.

3. In this natives Saptamsa the lagnesh is joined Rahu. When this

happens i have seen that the sexes are reversed.

- First child is indicated by the Sun which is afflicted by tenth lord

Saturn causing miscarriage. Also the Sun is placed in Marana karaka

sthana.

- Second child is indicated by Venus which is placed in Taurus which

should give girl - so its reversed to boy. Venus can indicate an early

delivery.

- Third child is indicated by Jupiter who is joined Ketu (girl) and is

debilitated (girl) - so it will be reversed to a boy again.

- Fourth pregnancy is seen from Aquarius. Aquarius receives the aspect

of the lagnesh Mars who is debilitated and retrograde, and also aspects

the tenth house of miscarriage. This Mars shows the persons OWN

decision to end the pregnancy - hence the involvement of lagnesh.

Saturn is the stronger planet to indicate the child and is badly placed

from Lagnesh, showing the rejection of the pregnancy.

- Fifth pregnancy is indicated by Mars, who cannot hurt himself. Mars

is joined Rahu (male) in cancer (male) but is debilitated (female).

Male power is dominating, but reversal should bring a girl. No more

pregnancies occur after this due to the junction of Mars with the nodes.

Yours sincerely,

Visti Larsen

Dear Visti,

I have been following your recent posts on

Saptamsha, Ghatik etc and have been applying your principles to rectify

and

understand both unusual event charts and saptamsha. I am deeply

grateful for

all that has been offered.

Please may I clear with you some

challenges I have come across with charakaraka replacement.

First issue is miscarried. Bleeding started

whilst piloting a helicopter just after takeoff from an offshore oil

platform ,

over water on route back to the aerodrome. But first a threatening

situation

arose , as the pilots door , on the left side of the helicopter popped

open. No

loss of control of the aircraft occurred and with some effort the pilot

managed

to hold the door as well as fly the aircraft until one of the two

passengers,

an engineer got it mostly closed again. The aircraft landed safely,

after a

nervous flight but the pilot was bleeding profusely with the as yet

unknown

pregnancy. The foetus was expelled 3-5 hours after the beginning of the

flight,

at home.

The flight was about 1 hour 15 long, and during

this period there are changing Atmakaraka charakaraka replacements Mo

Sa. or SA MO plus lagna change.

Take off for the flight( start of

miscarriage) event chart is October 13th

1979 ,off Whangarei Heads , New Zealand . Between 1300 and 1430

hours ghatik tithi for the native , Ashtami was operating.

Saggitarius

is ghatik rasi for moon.

Natives rectified chart gives D7 narayana

dasha at the time was Leo Pisces Sagg.

Details

of the D7 are :Aries lagna ,Venus in Taurus, Saturn and Mercury in

Gemini, Rahu

and Mars in Cancer, moon in Leo, ( 1st issue), Jupiter and

Ketu in

Capricorn, Sun in Pisces.

FIRST QUESTION In rectifying the event

chart, Ak replacement would refer to the whole helicopter and all

occupants

rather than just the baby? . If this is so, and bearing in mind both

Lagnas are

Saturn ruled, then is Mo replacing Saturn, the later time would be

correct? How

would you judge this?

2. Either Mars ( for Aries) the bleeding planet

that aspects Lagna by 7th or 8t th in each of

the possible

event lagnas or the heavily afflicted Jupiter ( for Pisces)rules the

third House

of skills. Yet the skill of the pilot kept the life threatening

situation under

control and the helicopter did not crash. Can it be true that the

planets that

indicate the death of this child also indicate the pilots skill?

3. With this natives D7 , the pregnancies run

1s t= miscarriage

2nd = male , born 9 months after miscarriage ( possible

twin?)Lagna

is Gemini

3rd= male difficult birth, Lagna Gemini ,chord around neck

, and

chord cut before delivery

4th= abortion

5th= female Aquarius lagna

How can the first two living issues be male?

Kind regards

Rosemary

Dear David,

Namaskar

Ok, if Virgo is the

lagna and there is no parivartana between lagnesh and lagna, then ninth

house

will represent first child. The sex of the first child must be seen

from lord

of the ninths placement, i.e. Venus' placement in the chart.

Moving in reverse to

the next child indicated by Pisces, we encounter the nodes in Aries. So

this

should normally limit the pregnancies to only one.

If the nodes appear,

then to jump over the delaying axis, either Jupiter must be strongly

indicating

the prior child (Taurus) or the next child (Pisces). If so then the

pregnancies

can continue.

Then next child we see

Pisces and jupiter, who is most likely associated with the tenth lord

or house

somehow to cause abortian/miscarriag e. Fiery planets joined Pisces do

show

bleeding/cutting associated with the pregnancy/childlabo r. Next child

is

seen from Capricorn whose lord Saturn will indicate the sex of the

child.

Best wishes,

RE: Saptamsa

Dear Visti ji,

Thank you for taking the time to reply my

query. In answer to your question may I present the facts as presented

to me by

the querent without forwarding the chart as the querent as since

requested me

not to reply to her query for various reasons. I am pursuing the

matter

to study the matter and understand the principles. So kindly reply.

Here are the facts as presented:

I am looking into a Saptamsa chart, the

Ascendant is in Virgo, an even sign. So, counting in reverse, the 5th

house

will be Taurus an even sign. Here, Moon tenants this house. By rasi and

planet

tenanted it is clear that the first child will be a female. The mother

has

acknowledged that the first child is a female.

After the birth of this child she conceived but had to abort that child

on

medical advice. This happened in 2004. Have been trying to conceive.

Doctors

who examined both parents find that both are healthy and there is no

question

of both having lost their fertility.

>From Taurus, I count in reverse and reach the 7th house which is

Pisces. This

is an even sign. However, following the exception to the rule, Pisces

will give

a male child. Sun and Mars tenant this house. According to Rule 2 both

these planets

ought to give male child.

Now comes the important question. If one encounters the Nodes whilst

counting

in Mandooka Gati, then the Gati ends unless Jupiter is strong in

Saptamsa.

In the instant case, Rahu is in Aries. Does that end the counting.

Jupiter is

in Moolatrikona in Sagittarius.

Visti Larsen ji's article and PVR Narasimha Rao ji's lesson on Saptamsa

state

that once the Nodes are encountered then the counting by Mandook Gati

ends

unless Jupiter is strong in Navamsa (this is according to Visti Larsen

ji),

unless the planet which supposes to give the second child, is very

strong.(Per

PVR Narasimha Rao ji).

What do you say? Please enlighten this novice.

Thank you.

Dear David,

Namaskar

Which chart are you

referring to? Also the rule states to see the lord of the particular

sign, and

not the planets tenating it.

Dear Shri Visti Larsen ji,

I have attached the messages I have posted

in both Jyotish Group and Vedic Astrology forums for your kind

attention.

For the identification of progeny in a

Saptamsa chart I have followed your article in Varga Chakra and Shri

PVR

Narasimha Rao ji's lesson 13 which he delivered to his students at

Boston .

Your help in clarifying the doubts in mind

would be much appreciated.

Thank you.

Dear Chandrasekhar ji and learned members,

A correction to my earlier message!

When quoting Visti Larsen ji I had

erroneously mentioned 'Navamsa'. Please note that all reference is to

the

Saptamsa chart.

Thanks.
