When we talk of Yogas in vargas, keep in mind that some yogas define the individual to the extent that it controls their entire life. So if we are to accept yogas in vargas, then maybe you can be a king at school, a saint at work and a loafer in spirituality. This would really set the scene for a multiple personality disorder. Some yogas can be applied in the varga charts such as the bhavesha yogas and placements, but also some cannot.

Regarding your questions

In COVA it was given that malefics in 10th will have papargala on 6th House and 6th house significations will be destroyed. So I thought that the Venus with malefics may cause destruction to 6th Bhava.

 

I would like to learn about neechabhanga, Pls let me know where can I get a article on this. And also I request you to please forward me london lectures and the Jaimini-SJC lectures Supplements, if you have a softcopy with you.

 

One more question: Dont the Yogas caused in Varga Chakras have any Significance except the ones caused in D-1. Pls clarify.

First Job on 13-9-1998, Second Job on 05-04-1999, Change of profile in Second Job on 09-04-2001. Resigned Second job on 08-03-2005, Joined Third Job on 21-03-2005. Went to London on 07-04-2005. Returned back to Hyderabad on 02-08-2005. Recent Salary hike on 29-06-2006.

Conclusion:-

 

 

Considering from Dasamsa Lagna:- 1)Lagna is Makara and its lord is in 9th. As per dictums if LL is in 9th makes one likes to be his own Boss.Because Saturn is Retrograded though I have a strong desire to be my own boss.

[Visti] Correct.

 

2) Taking Rahu as 2nd Lord for Aquarius he is placed in 10. So he assures the income which suits my needs at every moment though as a natural malefic he also troubles in-order to get my pay-cheque.

[Visti] The second house/lord in Dasamsa also shows what motivates you to keep working. Here the conjunction of venus is the strongest showing that you really enjoy interacting with people and working on feedback from clients about innovations, design, etc. Rahu itself indicates working with research.

 

I've never heard of paycheck being analyzed from second house, more like eleventh house from Dasamsa Lagna and also Varnada Lagna in Rasi. In Rasi the eleventh from Varnada Lagna has Retrograde Saturn... very clear that problems are coming from there. I've talked about this in my book.

 

3) Being Lord of two bad houses 3 & 12 Retrograded and exalted Jupiter placed in the 7th house from lagna may give bad results as he is functional malefic for this chart.

[Visti] Have you read COVA? third lord makes you go on vacation/holiday, whilst twelfth lord causes one to go abroad. Both causes one to stop working.

 

And also the Jupiter should be considered as debiliated or weak as per nadi techniques which state exalted and retrograded planet will not give good results. So if I choose Business as a career,though I can survive due to karakas, I have to struggle a lot.

[Visti] When a retrograde planet is exalted, it means that it WANTS to be debilitated. The desire for the debilitation is very strong, and hence the person acts in a way to attain debilitated effects. This is very good for finances, and business will give you alot of money through your efforts, but also alot of stress as benefics in this state cause this.

 

 

4) Being Venus is Lord for 5th and 10th Houses he is yogakaraka for this chart. But being with malefics in 10th house it will destroy the 6th House significations of career.

[Visti] Why will it destroy the sixth house?

 

4) Coming to 4th house planets in it (Me and Ke) are shows that I work as a Software Engineer and I will be Working with computers.

[Visti] No, fourth house doesn't show the work. I will explain why you work with computers later in the mail. The fourth house shows your office at work, and how are the hours. Malefics show crazy hours from early in the morning to late at night, whilst benefics lets the person decide their own work hours. Mercury will be strongly influenced by Ketu and causes slave-like working hours.

 

 

The lord of 6th is in 4th with a malefic planet which may show struggle in career.??

[Visti] I have explained the problem above.

 

5) Coming to Sixth house Retrograded Mars is placed in 6th,for which a malefic planet in 6th may be considered as good and it shows that I will be in Service for long term jobs only in any company.

[Visti] How do you deduce that?

 

 

But again he is the lord of Kendra and placed in dustana probable he may show struggle in service.??

[Visti] so is it good or bad?

 

Make sure you are using Lagna-vimshottari for your chart.

 

 

 

I got my first Job in Rah MD - Ju AD - Ju PD -- Me SD which is a Mechanical Supervisor job after having a lot of mental pressure.

[Visti] The pressure comes from the fourth house/lord. Mechanical supervisor is the Mars (mechanics) in the sixth in Gemini (analysis).

Second Job in Rah MD - Ju AD - Sa PD - Su SD Which is related to Computer Aided Drafting

[Visti] Definitely it is. Second job is Mercury (lord of sixth) and is joined Ketu in fourth - again some stress.

Change of profile in Second job of the same company to Software engineer in Rah MD - Sat AD - Sat PD - Me SD with a lot of initial struggles to survive in that position.

[Visti] So now Ketu is going to give results, and is giving more software (due to conjunction with Mercury)

Third Job in Rah MD - Mer AD - Mer PD - Mars SD which gave me an Sudden rise in Salary and also fame though the designation was not changed. I also went to London in Rah MD - Mer AD - Mer PD - Rah SD.

[Visti] More sallary is seen from Ketu's eleventh lordship, but without a change of designation it is still Ketu giving the job. Trines to twelfth can support travelling. Please give the same list with Lagna-Vimshottari dasa.

 

 

 

6) Being Sun debiliated in 10th House (Probably there may be a cancellation as it is in Kendra to Lagna) it indicated the less pride, Low position , high responsibility, independant views and help from senior officers.

[Visti] Please learn the principles of Neecha bhanga. Sun gets cancellation if Mars, Venus or Saturn are in kendra to lagna or moon. Only Mercury can give himself neecha bhanga.

 

 

7) Being Venus in 10th house and also lord of 10th indicates Creative and also good at relations at work.

 

 

This is 100% true as I strive to be creative in whatever I do.

[Visti] See, Venus is very strong and joined your second lord Rahu.

 

8) Being Rahu placed in 10th my father had suffered mentally a lot until I got my third job/3/4 service of my 2nd Job.

[Visti] No, karakas will show the minds suffering, and this is due to the Neecha Sun. Otherwise you cannot see your parrents from the D10 chart. Look instead at your Rasi and see a joint curse of father and spouse in the lagna, as venus also lords the tenth house showing the reason.

 

 

9) Because of malefics placed in 10H they had destroyed the significations of 6H Service and I had to suffer a lot due to mental tensions in Rahu MD - Sat AD due to papargala on 6H

[Visti] If they had destroyed the sixth, you would be jobless. Mental suffering is seen from the fourth house. Keep in mind your curse.

 

 

10) Mercury and Ketu's aspect on 10th House made me fickle minded though I might me blessed from Venus for Business. As the 10th Lord Venus is being afflicted by Malefics in it, it may casue misfortune in business.

[Visti] For such general indications, see the rasi. Tenth lord in the lagna is like having Mercury in Lagna, and this makes a person very fickle - i know, i have it too.

 

 

11) Being 10th House being 2nd from Paka lagna assuring the money with struggles.

[Visti] This is stretching the Dasamsa too far.

 

 

I dont know How many of the below Yogas work in my chart. I request the learned members to guide me here. I dont know how this yogas help the career.

Dharma-Karmadhipati Yoga was formed due to 9th Lord Me aspects 10 Lord Venus

 

 

Vipareeta Raja Yoga was formed by association of dustana lord Su with 10th lord Venus

 

 

Hamsa Mahapurusa was formed by Jupiter as it is in Kendra from Lagna,AK and also from 10th Lord

 

 

Saraswati Yoga was formed as Mercury,Venus and Jupiter are in Kendras

 

 

Nipuna Yoga was formed as Mercury is aspecting Sun.

 

 

Maha Yogada was formed due to HL is aspected by Saturn which should give me Power and authority.

[Visti] Neither will work. The real definition of the self is seen from the rasi chart.

 

Though Sanjay Prabhakaran ji explained me abt Parivatana effects still I am unable to decide which will profit me Career or Business? Reason is

 

 

 

6th Lord is with a single malefic planet and 10th Lord is with two malefic planets

 

 

Both 6th Lord and 10 Lord are aspecting each other.

[Visti] Exalted or debilitated planets give alot of profit. Now compare between the houses of service and those of business... which is more auspicious?

 

And also if business Should we consider Jupiter or Moon ? because both are in exchange. Please clarify.
