Guest guest
Dear Visti ji, Shri Sanjay ji has mentioned in his book that Moon or Jupitor having lordship over some house and being 8th from own house will destroy the significance of that house. Will it be true for other Planets too..What is the signification for other bad planets Shani, Rahu in this case. How does this system work ? Suppose somebody has Moon as 6th lord in 1st house, being 8th from 6th house, will this combination destroy the significations and there wont be any enemies and diseases for the native. Will this work good, if moon is having lordship over bad house.. Regards and Best wishes, Amit
Guest guest
Dear Amit, Sorry to come in. This works for all planets. But for 6th house Lord coming in 1st it is going to create health problems for the native. For the bad houses I believe the indications would worsen wherever the Lord falls or which ever raashi it comes in. Just like Moon spoils the 4th house if it sits in 4th as natural karaka, but Saturn in same case intensifies the positives when sitting in 8th that is longevity. regards, Bhaskar. Guest guest
Dear Amit/Bhaskar, Namaskar. Bhaskar, Amit is talking about destruction of the signification of the house and not the reinforcement of the signification. So the example about 6th house in Lagna giving health problems is not the destruction of signification of the 6th house; if it were then there would be no health problems (instead). I have read this rule given by Sanjay-ji in Vimsottari and Udu Dasa book (somewhere given as a footnote). Kindly permit me to try the explanation according to my understanding. This rule is about a natural benefics (Guru or Chandra) being in the 8th from their lordship results in weakining of thier own houses. The reason in my understanding is that Benefics being of soumya nature tend to give the result of the house they are posited in first and then take care of their house later (lesser priority). Narasimha-ji explained it (while explaining the Three Parts rule of Narayana Dasa in his Boston lecture) like this: Benefics in a house are like very well-natured guests and tends to think of the people in the house first rather than thinking about their own agenda. Hence 8th being house of destruction, they will tend to give that effect. Malefics on the other hand are strong and think of their own agenda first so they tend to produce some transformations in their house rather than allowing destruction. I think the reason for the fact that benefics owning the kendras giving rise to kendradhipatya dosha is also similar: the four kendras are four doors of our lives and benefics are like very good natured sentinels of these doorways and can allow ill effects to pass through the doors easily. On the other hand, malefics as owners tends to fight and protect their houses better. Even with this explanation, I would be a bit careful about applying it always. I think this dictum is significant if the benefic is under malefic conjunction/aspect. Further in certain cases, like Mesha lagna with Guru as lord of 9th in the 4th exalted can be beneficial to some extent. I hope I added something to this discussion. Guest guest
Dear Saurav ji Namaskar For leo natives too - guru if in Cancer (exalted) - will have 5th lord in 8th from it. Will this be treated as well the exception to the rule? and the More so, as its natural karkatva also belongs to 5th house. regards / Prafulla Gang The only abnormality is the incapacity to love. > > souravc108 > Sun, 27 Aug 2006 04:57:43 -0000 > sohamsa > Re: From Shri Rath's Book > > > Dear Amit/Bhaskar, > > Namaskar. Guest guest
Dear Friends, The predicament about the effects on the 6th lord placed in Ascendant or lord of any other house placed in 8th is quite genuine. This can not be answered by single rule. I suggest to read following references for better understanding : 1. Phal-deepka-Chapter -six( 6). 2 Jatak-Parijat- chapter-eleven(11)- slokas 1 to 12 G.K.GOEL Sourav <souravc108 wrote: Dear Amit/Bhaskar,Namaskar. Guest guest
Dear Sourav ji, Goel ji and Bhaskar ji, Sourav ji has taken me correct.I just wanted to ask the same thing. So will this give bad effects as 6th lord being in 1st house, it should destroy the signification of 6th house.. and there should not be any problems from enemies/diseases.. Regards, Amit sohamsa , Gopal Goel <gkgoel1937 wrote: > > Dear Friends, > The predicament about the effects on the 6th lord placed in Ascendant or lord of any other house placed in 8th is quite genuine. This can not be answered by single rule. > I suggest to read following references for better understanding : > 1.
