SARVAM GYANANANDAMAYAMAUM GURUBYO NAMAHDear Members,Namaste. 5th house is the most important house in the chart. 5th house is the house of Mantra. 5th house is also the Putra Bhava.Mata Devaki and Pita Vasudeva were eagerly awaiting the birth of the 8th child - the birth of deliverer - the LORD. Lord Visnu who is residing within the heart of every living entity, appeared in the darkness of night as the Supreme personality of Godhead before Devaki and Vasudeva. The Lord appeared as a baby with four hands, holding conchshell, club, disc and lotus flower, decorated with the mark of Srivatsa, wearing the jeweled neckalace of Kaustubha stone, dressed in yellow silk, appearing dazzling like a bright blackish cloud, wearing a helmet bedecked with the vaidurya stone, valuable bracelets, earrings, and similar other ornaments all over his body and beautified by an abundance of hair on his head. This appearance was enought to prove to the parents the

arrival of the Supreme force. The Lord in the child spoke that in the millenium of Syaayambhuva manu Vasudeva was Prajapati Sutapa and Mother Devaki was Prsni. HE said that HE was born to them during that time as Prsnigarbha on account of their prayers and during the next millennium the parents took birth as Kasyapa and Aditi and the Lord was born to them as Upendra/Vamanadeva. This is the third time that the Lord is fulfilling their wishes and he is being born to them KRSNA. The Lord thereafter ordered Vasudeva to carry him to Gokula and exchange him for the daughter of Yasoda who was born then. Having said thus the Lord turned Himself into an ordinary child in their presence and remained silent.Vasudeva was extremely pleased. As he was about to carry out the orders of the Lord he understood that his hand-cuffs were not removed. Then how could he do this act!! This thought came to him only for a few seconds. But without hesitation he started to act as per the

dictates of the Lord. He moved with the handcuffs and lifted the child and placed to his bosom and to his head. No sooner he did this the handcuffs were removed instantly and the prison doors opened automatically.Though i am not interesed in philosophising this beautiful event the thought the four-handed Visnu did not remove the handcuffs of Vasudeva but the implicit resolution to do work ordained by the Lord and the act of lifting the baby and placing to the bosom and to the Head removed the handcuffs is fascinating indeed. The vatsalya rasa can break all the fetters of Samsara in no time when one understands Visnu as Krsna and takes him to his heart and to his head.Let us come back to Jyotish vidya. From the 9th house of Narayana to 5th house of Krsna the vatsalya rasa transformation is the need of the hour. In the Putra Bhava, Vatsalya ras naturally flows. From the Putra Bhava the Madura ras of Krsna Nama can bring about the required enlightenment to the

'dhi' sakthi/lagna)seat of Prajapati(remember Vasudeva was born as one of the Prajapatis known as Sutapa).i take this opportunity to pray to SriKrsna to gift us all this transformation on this auspicious day of Janma astami.By his birth on Astami thithi the thithi itself gains the Jaya Nama/Ghosha.
