Query on VRY in kendra or trikona (by Pt. Sanjay Rath )

Dear Shri Gang,

 

I follow Pt. Rath's teaching that the Vipreeta Raja Yoga occurs when:

 

(i) Dusthana Lords are placed in Dusthanas apart from the ones they

own or are conjoined with other Dusthana lords in a Dusthana. Here

the evil tends to fight the other evil and results in a positive

after stresses and adversity. Here, the lords ought to be weak in

Rashi/ Navamsha or else the benefits that accrue cannot be sustained;

 

(ii)Dusthana Lords are conjoined in a Kendra/ Trikona but transfer

their power to the Lagnesh/ the Atmakaraka. If they merely conjoin

the native does not rise himself but benefits from the rise of

another. These are specific teachings of Pt. Rath and are all stated

in his Article on the subject. The planets should be strong in

Rashi/ Navamsha else the Yoga cannot be sustained;

 

(iii)Malefic Yogakarakas(Shani / Mangal) in Dusthanas are also

causative of the Yoga but other lords should not be conjoined or

else their significations are destroyed;

 

(iv)Neecha benefics in the 3rd or 6th Bhavas from the Arudha Lagna

or strong and exalted malefics in the same places are causative of

Vipreeta Raja Yoga, provided the benefics are not exalted and the

malefics are not Neecha in the Navamsha in which case the powers

shall be weakened. Here Uchcha and Neecha can be taken to mean

fortification and affliction as well.

 

In the given chart, 6th Lord Rahu with the Lagnesh Budh in the 3rd

House forms a Duryoga. The Rashi Drishti of Trikona Lord mitigates

it but Shani is co-lord of the 6th too. If the same Yoga occurs in a

Kendra, it gives Vipreeta Raja Yoga as well, according to COVA by

Pt. Rath.

 

There are no Vipreeta Raja Yogas in the given chart.
