Guest guest
Dear Narasimha, I was trying to forget but here it is. You know when I ever have any kind of 'touch' of something higher, it is always sweet, sooo loving, and unconditional, so wide, nothing like has been described. Pure love and beauty. And then come all kinds of religions saying no no, even if you could find some completeness, some rest you would be damned to live over. You have to know Krishna as always being seperate from you and come to him. All this Brahman awareness will get you into trouble. And then we have the muslims with their Jihad etc. I guess it goes back to the Christian damnation suffered at school and is confusing and frightning. Its like you can never be sure and never be right. And what I know to be true doesn't like it. But through all the different ways I have sought, the touch has always been, well divine. When I do my mantras I dont experience any hardness, just gentleness. I go to Kali temple, Krshna temple, different tastes and flavours, and I say you show me, theres no problem. So why would God be throwing anyone around? When I practice Jyotish, usually alone it seems to me that everything is perfect, so wonderful and I think Yes this is it, this is wonderful, its okay. While writing this the phone rang and rang off, and I accidently sent off 3 empty mails. So this is Budha sending it away. I have to not be swayed by different conflicting religous views that scare. Anyway in Christianity I dont think you can merge, but there is only one life, you better get it right though as its heaven or hell forever after! I would like really to know ultimately what is THE FINAL TRUTH. But check this. One of my Tachers was Papaji a disciple of Ramana Maharshi. He chanted Krishna mantras until his Guru freed him. There are different stories of his awakening. One is that Papaji was acting strange, and Ramana asked him 'what are you doing', to which he replied 'playing with Krishna', Ramana responded 'you own self is Krishna', at which point he woke up. Now Papaji expounded an Advaitic path, yet even he would taunt us with this 'can you tell me the secret AFTER enlightenment'. He said this enlightenment is just the begining. The closest I cam to intellectually understanding all this was through AGHORA II, where Vimalananda spoke about higher lokas of Krishna, as well as awakening and even Rishis, Siddhas and Munis etc. And the shock of the level of knowledge in that book took me one year to intergrate. The second time I read it, the synapses were prepared, and it was a little easier. So I dont know. Sincerely, Paul
