This is a part of the "Pacific Ring of Fire" and home to the volcano Mt. Merapi which is active during this period. The data of the moment of earthquake at the epicenter: Yogyakarta, Indonesia, 5:54:01 a.m. (+7:00 EoGMT), 110deg17min (east), 8deg00min (south). This is as per data reported in the US Geological Survey website (http://earthquake.usgs.gov/eqcenter/eqinthenews/2006/usneb6/#details). Lagna lord is Shukra in the 12-th (vargottama) in Aries and 12-th lord is bhumikaraka Mangal in debility in Rasi and Navamsa charts. Navamsa Lagna is in Mesha in the 12-th from Rasi lagna with Surya and Shukra, where Surya happens to be lord of 4H and A8. Does anyone have the chart of Indonesia ? It seems that there is a dispute regarding dates. While Indonesia celebrates August 17 for it, the final Dutch troops withdrawal happened in Dec 27 in 1945. Even in India, Mountbatten had to be in Delhi to give the oath/handover to Nehru. So someone can argue that the last Viceroy left India on a later date, an event which is more important than troops leaving. Even in Iraq, the US and British troops are still there and we have a Iraqi government functioning. "An earthquake resembling to some degree to the killer big one preceding Tsunami seems to be in offing next year first half.7.5 to 8 on Richter scale is anticipated.I would study the dates carefully and try to pinpoint its origin to the best of my ability.The above activities will be mostly in Asian , Pan Pacific, southern region and Far east countries.
