Guest guest
Om Guruve Namah, Dear Guru Sanjay and Narasimha-bhai, Certainly. I will indeed collate and forward a list of such places (plus Long and Lat and time variations). However, such a manual list will always require continuous correction and updating. Hence, allow me to postulate a practical alternative/suggestion. Andrew (Shree Jyoti), Solar Fire, Astrodienst and all the leading Western Astrology programs subcsribe to and incorporate the ACS Atlas in their software. This generates the widest possible list of long/lat coordinates as well as accurate Time Zone indices and Summer/Daylight saving Time variations. I believe this Atlas publisher charges a reasonable annual fee. And there could be other such Atlas providers in USA. Narasimha-bhai: Could you kindly explore the possibility of incorporating this Atlas in JHora and ascertain the cost implications. I will gladly contribute towards these expenses. No doubt other gurus and serious Jhora users will also pitch-in. Sponsors can also be arranged. [in any case, finance will not be a problem]. You have expended " pain-staking hours of blood, toil and tears " to create the best possible software for astrological study/research. The least we can do is to support and finance further improvements to ensure that JHora retains its status as the pre-eminent Vedic Astrology program. Best regards - Prashun sohamsa , " Sanjay Rath " <guruji wrote: > | om gurave namah | > Dear Prashun Narasimha can help if we can give him a list of places with Lat and Long to add. I did that homework for him and expect that this should be easy to cut and paste into any code. Could you help as well with the others you mention?
