Respected Learned Members,

 

Fasting based on the Rasi occupied by the Upapada Lagna is said to

bring marriage for someone looking out for marriage. Also fasting from

Sunrise to Sunset seems to have been advised. May be I have a silly

question here - could anyone please help me define fasting? Is it

going without food (solid and liquid)? I am in my initial stages of

learning astrology. It would be of great help if one of the learned

members could give some details on fasting.
