Guest guest
Om Datta Guru Dear Lakshmi, Pranam Nice to hear from you. Very interesting and special point from you , I appreciate your mail. Pls find some doubts Doubts 1. In case of Hamsa Mahapurusha Yoga, why did Shri Ram had to pray to Durga Ma , when for Jup u mentioned akasha Tatva/Sun. I am unable to understand why for Durga 2. In case of Malavya Yoga - Jala tatva - Moon to be prayed 3. In case of other planets can you kindly list down the planets & Gods to be prayed. Yes Nav placement is a must even i feel so hence I guess Bachchans Jup is blessed as in Nav it is exalted (writing from memory) though i need to check in other Mahapurusha yogas charts, again though on short note I checked fast that in Shri Ramas Nav, Jup is with DEBILITATED Moon, wouldn't this spoil the Hamsa yoga. Thanks Kind regards Sunil sohamsa , "B Lakshmi Ramesh" <b_lakshmi_ramesh wrote:>> Om Gurave Namah> > Namaste Sunil,> > Apart from the strength of Sun and Moon, I feel that the overall > tattwa and tenor of the natal chart must also support the > Mahapurusha yoga in order for it to fructify. Guest guest
|| Hare Rama Krishna || Namaste Lakshmiji, > Lakshmi: Yesterday I forgot to mention that perhaps if the > Mahapurusha yoga does not occur from the AL, the person may not be > deemed to be a Mahapurusha by other people. > > In Sri Ramakrishna's chart, Sasa Mahapurusha yoga occurs from > karakamsaka, and one can see the pervasive influence of Vayu tattwa > on lagna/surya/chandra/paka lagnas. Just remembered this:--)) I remember a discussion between Narasimhaji and Sanjayji some years back on Mahapurusha Yoga (might be in the archives still). If my memory doesn't fail me, the conclusions from that discussion were: a) Mahapurusha Yoga should only be considered from rasi lagna (not chandra lagna or other lagnas). b) Mahapurusha Yoga is only applicable in the rasi chart (not vargas). So I am not sure if judging Mahapurusha Yoga from AL, or judging them in navamsa is correct. As always, if wrong, I'd appreciate being corrected. May Sri Vishnu bless us all, Reema. sohamsa , " B Lakshmi Ramesh " <b_lakshmi_ramesh wrote: > > Om Gurave Namah > > Dear Sunil, > > Namaste. > > > 1. Guest guest
| om gurave namah |Dear Lakshmi The exaltation and debility of the grahas is within the domain of that which is created and I don't think anyone has yet given any plausible explanation for the exaltation of planets, their degrees of exaltation and so on. So any spiritual reasoning would not be accurate until we understand why they exalt in the first place and if they do, why they do so in these sopts. Mahapurusha is another issue altogether and this has to do with the positional strength of the planet - technically sthana bala and then again only in a Kendra. Your point on the Moonis otherwise most accurate. However the real reason is slightly different and is explainedin Saravali - when one is passing through a very difficult time and life related challenges are seen, then the remedy lies in worshipping the deity of the Lagna Lord. In the chart of Sri Rama, the lagnesa is the Moon and in Sukla paksha it indicates Durga (Prasna Marga). Hence Rama worshipped Durga to kill Ravana.Best wishes and warm regards,Sanjay RathPersonal: WebPages ¡ü Rath¡Çs Rhapsody SJC WebPages: Sri Jagannath Center ¡ü SJCERC ¡ü JIVAPublications: The Jyotish Digest ¡ü Sagittarius Publications---- sohamsa [sohamsa ] On Behalf Of B Lakshmi RameshThursday, May 11, 2006 2:01 PMsohamsa Subject: Re: Failure of Mahapurusha Yoga/Lakshmi Om Gurave NamahDear Sunil,Namaste.> 1. Guest guest
Dear Members, Kindly tell me the deity of Mars, when he is placed in Aries & Retrograde. In Navamsa he is in Leo with Mercury. I think the deity is Subramanya. Is there any other view. This is for Scorpio Lagna, i.e. Mars in 6th house. Thanks & regards, Kannan sohamsa , " Sanjay Rath " <guruji wrote: > > > > > | om gurave namah | > Dear Lakshmi > > The exaltation and debility of the grahas is within the domain of that which > is created and I don't think anyone has yet given any plausible explanation > for the exaltation of planets, their degrees of exaltation and so on. Guest guest
Om Gurave Namah Namaste Reema ji, Perception can both support or distort reality. Mahapurusha yoga from lagna is of course the real measure. I am sure that all of us have seen quite a few unsung Maha purushas, while there are quite a few whom the public have understood to be Mahapurushas, which may not be true at all:--)) I was referring to the strength of Maha purusha yoga karaka planets in navamsa and not of mahapurusha yogas in navamsa. I am sorry if I have erroneously conveyed such an impression. Lakshmi: What you have said is very correct, Guruji, but one can not help trying to understand, and ofcourse many blunders are bound to occur in the process. But in those blind stumblings, while we may not exactly hit upon truth, With the Grace of God and Rishis, our blind stumblings & ramblings might just take us an inch closer to It. Guest guest
Dear Sanjay Regarding the plausible explanation for exaltation and debilitation. I think you have to go back to the Vedic forms of the solar deity to find it. I don't know if these correspond exactly with your tradition, but they seem to describe each exaltation and debilitation easily. Sun in Aries Savitri - constant source of life and light Sun in Libra - Aryaman - perfect balance, marriage, fine arts Moon in Taurus - Pushan - nourisher, lord of food and of possessions. Moon is the seat of emotions, which give desire. Moon in Scorpio - Amsha - deserts or results of desire Mars in Capricorn - Vishnu - power of action, maintainance of order Mars in Cancer - Parvati/Uma - Compassion has Mars running in ever decreasing circles. Mercury in Virgo - Mahavishnu - Only perfection is worthwhile. Mercury in Pisces - Vivasvan - sacrifice of earthly perfection Jupiter in Cancer - Varuna - morality, compassion for the ignorant Jupiter in Capricorn - Vishnu - accomplishment, order, action, not knowledge. Venus in Pisces - Vivasvan - sacrifice of desire is realisation. Venus in Virgo - Mahavishnu - maintainance of earthly perfection - in purity no desire. Saturn in Libra - Aryaman - balance prevents suffering, death, etc. Saturn in Aries - Savitri no balance for Saturn Rahu seems to be in tune with Taurus, Gemini (Shakra - power) and Virgo Ketu in Scorpio relishes deserts for sins and in Jupiter's Signs there is knowledge of the spiritual path and realization.
