This has many advance features like Event Finder, Chart/ Birth time adjustment and Transit, besides KP significators. The program is being released free in public domain for the benefit of astrologer community. This site does not allow files greater than 5 MB as such I was unable to upload it in the file section. My Birth data is: 1/6/1964 15:38:00 Chandigarh, India. It is showing Pisces as Lagna But My Lagna is Libra may be something is missed can you guide me what I am missing. But i have a problem when we restart the program it shows error No.380 and when click on OK program shutdown.How to rectify it?Without it we can't use this program. However, the same was not got registered as the same was not meant to be launched as a commercial product and was freely distributed among friends and other users during these years. Regading Chopra ji's query, it appears that You have forgot to change the time zone to IST, as the data reported by you pertains to EST. Regading Bhasker ji's query, it is clarified that the software will work without registration upto 30 days. In case you find it useful, you may obtain free registeration key, which will allow you to continue to use the software. The intention behind registration is to obtain feedback from users and to intimate them in case of updates. In respect of problem being faced by Sh Bohra ji, I suspect that the database has got corrupted. It is requested that the software be re- installed after un-installation. For the same chart details, JHora 7.02 (apparent positions) gives Asc 1 Li 35:08 & Moon 23 Cp 47:12 using same KPNA 23:15:43. Is something wrong with data entry to have a bit notable difference in Asc position by using the same Swiss ephemeris. Am I missing Sid Time for the chart? I think no confuson with Geocentric latitude.Congratulations and thanks to Amitabh on behalf of KP learners. I'll play with it later and give some constructive comments. Though the program uses Swiss ephemeris, I have not used calculation of Ascendant (for Placidus system) as well as KP Ayamnamsa as per Swiss ephemeris. The calculation of Asc for Placidus (Semi-arc system) is as per N.C.Lahiri's (Head of Calandar Reforms committee,GOI) formulae and the same tallies with the Raphel's Tables of houses. If member's wish to use Swiss Asc, an option can be provided in the " Calculation Option " Menu. Similar is the case with KP Ayanamsa, which has been taken to the fit in values provided by the Rev. Guruji KSK in his early books/ Ready Reckoner by Sh.R.E. Manu (published about 30 years ago). I have also not used 'New KP Ayanmsa' as some of the new softwares are giving. I solicit the views of learned Gurus and experienced followers of KP system in theses matters to make it more useful. Experts may compare with out put of other softwares.Thats fine but need is to compare with calculations obtained from Raphels tables, for Prof KSK developed the system from these tables. Regarding KP ayanamsa as calculated by RE Manu,This value has not proved reliable in my practise of Horary nor his calculations using his tables as compared to Raphel. To keep simple Options of other value of KPAyanamsa will be a additional choice for users. You have option of JPL also. I do not know programming.I am curious DO both JPL and swiss have same algorithm for calculation of Placidious house system. Day lord should be vedic based. Sunrise to Sunrise is a day. If a child born on 21-3-1967 at 4.24AM, the railway time day is Tuesday but the vedic day is Monday. Please redesign the program accordingly. It seems the geocentric is default for lattitude. Give option to use geographic. In the Plants signified by the houses table, Aspected by the planets to be checked for correctness. In the Houses signified by the planets table, Aspected by following planets to be checked for correctness. There is no aspect for Rahu/Ketu in KP. Uranus,pluto,Neptune are to be removed from the table for clarity. Since the JPL ephemeris are bulky in size (200 MB for complete 6000 years), these have not been included in the software to keep it smaller (Swiss Eph are about 1/10 th in size). There is hardly any difference in planetary positions as far as accuracy is concerned. The difference between Swiss and JPL is within 1 milli-arcsecond (0.001 " ), which is more than enough for astrology purposes. As far as non angular houses are concerned, I have relied on N.C.Lahiri's algorithms for Placidus system. For other House systems I have used Swiss Eph Calculations. I will appreciate your specific comments on your experiences with Ayanamsa. I shall request other readers also to offer their comments in this regard. I shall try to include KPNA as Some of the readers are of the opinion that KP new ayanamsa be also provided in the software. The name of author of 'Ready Reckoner' has been erroneously typed, which should read Er. Manu. Thanks once again for four valuable comments.
