I mean how to find whether the person is Drug Addictd, what kind of drug, whether he will get rid off that? Please explain. Its suicidal and an offence. So, for drug addition Moon has to be afflicted by Rahu and connected with Saturn, and should signify 6,8,12. Any deviation will not give addiction. I request members to submit a chart of a drug addict in the forum to validate. A person who gets addicted to one or more of drugs, uses it as a support as a 'sahara'. He needs a 'sahara' because since childhood he feels neglected, frustrates or uncared for. The person who loses confidence that his parents would support him in time of need. Failure in certain aspects of life and not having moral backing may be another reason. Once he gets addict, he is branded as an ADDICT but not as a patient of depression or frustration etc. Thus desease of mind is the disease and not the visibility of addiction. Loan approvals. Ill health. Winning in exams,competetions etc. Maternal Uncles. Servants. Enemies. and many many other things. It also reveals tendency to addictions. The 12th house shows Self-Undoing through indulgements. But whenever the 6th house occures in the figures of the significators, we cannot judge any or all, from the above because all cannot happen at a time with a single individual. Its a fruitless excersise to find out what addiction a person sufffers from, or whether he will suffer or not at all, and if yes, then which one, whether from alcohol, Tobacco, sex, Drugs, or whatever . This is not so easy to find out, though not impossible through astrology. But why do we need to find out ? A native suffering from some addiction will himself tell the astrologer that he is fed up of so n so habit of his, or his wife bringing the chart will say, or someone else from the family. They will be coming to the astrologer and ask for the time when the native will leav ethis, and how must he leave the habits, and the remedial measures etc. I feel this is a waste discussion. No astrologer is so smart enough to see the 6th house and predict whether the addiction is there, or not, and what type. There are some clues though in Traditional astrology which some smart astrologer may convert in KP. For instance Mars and Rahu in 10th will give tendency for native to drink. Rahu in 1st may give tobacco addiction. ( Not traditional) Hershel in 6th may give a native addictions to Drugs. ( Non Traditional) there are many such examples., but who will search and who will pinpoint to a native all this ? Are we not supposed to hear it from the horses mouth rather than searching for a natives addictions in his Birth chart, or searching for a womens character in her chart ? Bhaskar.
