Comparision of Astrodienst, KPAstro 3.1 & JHora 7.02

It's interesting and pl see the comparison of SW results below and you may check and add JHora 7.32 results.

1. To be comparable to the cuspal and planetary positions of

Astrodienst (www.astro.com), provider and

user of Swiss epemeris, the lat. & long. of Ludhiana is adjusted to the same position

used by Astrodienst and JHora and also shown by Google Earth, ie. 30N54, 75E51.

2. For 03-02-1962, 10:13:35 am (GMT+5:30), 30N54, 75E51, the

Sid. Time 18:38:32 is the same by Astrodienst, KPAstro 3.1 and JHora 7.02 (2005 disk form the provider).

3. In the table below, the Sayana positions of Astrodienst

are converted into Nirayana positions by abstracting the KPNA 23:14:15. By

using the same ayanamsa and birth details, the results of KPAstro 3.1 and JHora

7.02 results are compared to the Astrodienst Nirayan results. The differences

(in seconds) are shown in RED color. [in JHora, by adjusting Custom (user

defined) ayanamsa to 5min:12.87sec less than Lahiri ayanamsa, the KPNA 23:14:15

is got.]

4. As usual, the results of Astrodient and KPAstro 3.1 are

the same, not more than 1 second

difference in both cuspal and planetary positions.
