JH is one of the elaborated astrology software i feel as i found one "YOGA VIMSHOTTARI DASHA" in the miscellanious will support for analysis and predicting events period with prana/deha dasha. You have told that the ""My chart is based on Jagannath Hora. with corrected ayanamsa"" so, i want to know what type of correction made for ayanamsha , i mean add or deduct from lahiri/kp /or any and what is the value of added/deducted degree/minits/seconds. Guest guest Posted January 16, 2009 Report Share Posted January 16, 2009 Dear Sir, Namaskar. Jagannath Hora gives option for different ayanamsa. including KP. I select KP ayanamsa. Then feed theSW with date, time and place of birth. The longitude and latitude of the places somes times differ from what the consultants provide. This has to be corrected. Then check the ayanamsa that the soft ware uses. I find some difference from NKPA. I calculate NKPA in Excell and find the difference from the default. Then add the difference to the default one. Make 'OK' then use the data of position of cusps and planets. I do confess that I am not able to read the charts in the SW. So I erect a chart in a table form and put the cuspal and planetary position with d/m/s. Then it becomes easier to read. I think I wrote more than necessary as it was meant for a new learner. You are in much higher status in astrology. I may be excused. With due regards.
