interpretation of kp chart as per western books

Dear Sir,

I am a student of kp astrology. I have learnt that

the horoscope prepared as per kp and western methods differ in as much

as one follows niryana and the other sayana. When we read books

written by western authors like ALAN Leo etc;I think the kp chart has

to be recast in the light of principles of Western System, for

interpretation purposes.I shall be grateful if you could let me know

how to go about it.

Dear MS Rao,Please don't consult Alan Leo, he is a forgerer.... All Western Astrology follows the Tropical System wheare as Vedic Astrology follows the Sidereal System. There is a growing gap between the Ayanamsh of both systems and it is 30 degrees approximately by now....i.e if your Ascendant is Kanya in Vedic, it will be Libra in Western Astrology....

So stick to the Vedic System.......Ashutosh

I am Neeraj member of this group . Can you tell me how I can get any Kp sw which gives 4step compitable I.e. compute 4 step significator. I am using Jhora 7.2 & kundli for windows ,at present in that I have to find manualy 4 step sig'tor .In astrosage online also it is not possible. I am just writing Punit Sir to accomodate same ,if possible on astrosage.com.also tell me price & how I will get it here in DUBAI through mail or currior.

1. Western astrologers are using star positions that are off by around 2000 years and different from the actual positions about 23.5 deg. (Jefferey Armstrong: God the Astrologer) Right now the difference is 23deg:53min:25sec as per New KP Ayanamsa (2003) calculated by -- http://www.astrosag e.com/log y/ayanamsa. asp

4. A comple KP chart can be calculated by any KP SW like Shri Raichur's .

Please study that Western system uses the Sayana (not nirayan) like KP

So the ayanamsa should be put as zero, and then worked out
