Guest guest
Dear Tin Win, The late Mr.M.P.Shanmugham,has written about Mars Dosha in his book,Astrosecrets & K.P.,edited by Mr.K.Subramaniam,pl refer Mars Dosha, Pp 39-48... Three levels of Mars Dosha are mentioned... I - From Lagna - Mars posited in II,IV,VII,VIII & XII...Dosha is 25 %... II -From Moon - Mars posited in II,IV,VII,VIII & XII...Dosha is 100% III - From Venus - Mars posited in II,IV,VII,VIII & XII...Dosha is 50%... It is also stated that the reasons for this are unclear... Generally,Mars Dosha is reckoned from the Lagna, few reckon it from the Moon, and to reckon it from Venus is rare... True Mars Dosha, without cancellation is also said to be rare... The rule I,above, however is followed by many a follower of K.P. Therefore I maintain that without any properly and carefully designed studies being conducted,it is too early to say anything so conclusively about Mars Dosha...I'm sure followers of K.P., remember that similarly, Punarphoo Dosha was dismissed out of hand by K.P followers for long, till finally a book appeared on the scene with actual case-studies (/s Vakari Ramamurthi & K.Subramaniam)...to settle the issue...once,and for all. ! Guest guest
Dear L. Y. Rao, 1. Pl note that what is quoted in this message (from Astrosecrets & K.P., Part I, p 40) is about traditinal views like Guru ji KSK mentioned in KP Reader IV, not as per KP. 2. Below what you posted is Mr.M.P.Shanmugham's view in his same book. Regards, tw Mars Dosha...! ? Message List < Prev | Next > Sun Oct 31, 2004 11:41 am Dear Members,As per Traditional Astrology variousTreatises, Textbooks & Magazines etc., all seem togive a multiplicity of rules, for "MARS DOSHA",andinsist on predicting dire consequences, such that,it isextremely confusing and as good as saying that ALL ofus,as per one "rule" or the other are "covered" underMars Dosha...and face dire consequences...!IN REAL LIFE,THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN...KRISHNAMURTHI PADHDHATI IS VERY CLEAR :1) A person's marital status can beweakened or separation caused ONLY by two houses thatare malefic to marriiage and married life...the VIth & the XIIth.2) In the girl's chart the lord of theVIIth should NOT be in any way, connected with VIth & XIIth houses of the boy's chart.3) Similarly,in a boy's chart, the lordof the VIIth should NOT be in any way, connected withthe VIth & XIIth houses of the girl's chart...Added to this, the other importantanalysis of longevity, children, health etc., whilematching of horoscopes, will certainly enable to give ahappy married life to the couple...If,the VIIth lord is connected to theVIth & XIIth,even when "NO 'Mars dosha'exists",marriedlife will become a veritable "hell-on-earth"...! !Traditional Astrology only serves toINSTILL an EXAGGERATED AND NON EXISTING FEAR of MARSDOSHA...and some astrologers also prescribe all sortsof 'shantis' and 'remedies' which only strain thepurse of most innocent victims...(Ref:Astrosecrets & K.P.,by K.Subramaniam,pp 39-45.)GOOD LUCK ! , Yogesh Rao Lajmi <lyrastro1 wrote:>> > > Dear Tin Win,>                 The late Mr.M.P.Shanmugham,has written about Mars Dosha in his book,Astrosecrets & K.P.,edited by Mr.K.Subramaniam,pl refer Mars Dosha, Pp 39-48...>                 Three levels of Mars Dosha are mentioned...> I - From Lagna - Mars posited in II,IV,VII,VIII & XII...Dosha is 25 %...> II -From Moon - Mars posited in II,IV,VII,VIII & XII...Dosha is 100%                     III - From Venus - Mars posited in II,IV,VII,VIII & XII...Dosha is 50%...>                   It is also stated that the reasons for this are unclear...>                  Generally,Mars Dosha is reckoned from the Lagna, few reckon it from the Moon, and to reckon it from Venus is rare...>                   True Mars Dosha, without cancellation is also said to be rare...>                   The rule I,above, however is followed by many a follower of K.P.>                  >                   Therefore I maintain that without any properly and carefully designed studies being conducted,it is too early to say anything so conclusively about Mars Dosha...I'm sure followers of K.P., remember that similarly, Punarphoo Dosha was dismissed out of hand by K.P followers for long, till finally a book appeared on the scene with actual case-studies (/s Vakari Ramamurthi & K.Subramaniam)...to > settle the issue...once,and for all. !>  >                    L.Y.Rao.> > > Add more friends to your messenger and enjoy!
