Namskar,Dear Sir,As a student, I was on look in to the going on debate of Mars Dosha.And turning every page of books and magazines, I tried to find out some important facts on the heading.As a result, I found an important article under the caption of "Effects of the conjunction of the Sun and Mars" in Astrology & Athrishta June 1979 issue. The name of the writer of this is N.N.Saha.Mars Dosha for Martial life are rare according to him, but he has mentioned about the Marriage of Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton,Whose Mars was combust in the 5th house.I invite U to discuss on the subject , if it is worthwhile for the reading on Sun and MarsGood Luck

Dear Friend,

1. As well-known, no effect of combustion in KP (Reader VI) and no combination other than Punarphoo is considered, for instance---

1) KP Reader IV page 69: "To cause difference of opinion, disagreement, dispute, divorce etc. among the couple it is not leftto Mars alone, any planet can cause such undesirable effect provided they happen to be deposited in such a position, that the sublord ofthe planet is the significator of 6 or 10 or 12 or the sublord is deposited in a constellation, the lord of which is the significatorof 6 or 10 or 12". (Msg#19547)

2. Any way let us check what that author says with the qualified charts from the AstroDatabank. That is why let me know what is his theory by conj of Sun and Moon, for instance Dr. BV Raman's grandfather explained him while persuading not yet educated and unemployed grandson to marry a doctor's daughter that the unmitigated Mars Dosha caused grandpa two marriages but not for him with mitigated Mars Dosha. Just disagreeing whatever other are doing without doing anything practical oneself is not helpful and so let us do something practically.

3. Another thing pl provide birth details of Taylor and Burton used in the article as they may be different, for instance it seems TOB used for 5 time married Burton is around 8:26 PM given by Beryl Sidney, not controversial 3:00 PM GMT and for Taylor the matching TOB as per KP rules with her 8 time marriage is 02:17 GMT not commonly used 2:20 GMT (02:13:05 GMT is used in Sanjay Rath's analysis in his Vimshottari Dasa book and her chart is also studied in Astrological Journal of KN Rao). Elizabeth was always in Brton's mind and she also rushed to the sky site in Swiss where Burton passed away like Onassis immediately took off by his own plain to offer the condolence in person to Jacqueline as soon as he heard about assassination of JF Kennedy on radio.
