One cannot say the above without checking the star of the Cusp Sub Lord. - We do not use such words with definiteness in astrology in front of any client or native. When you talk of the Sub Lord of any cusp being good or bad for any native, just on the basis of where the Cuspal Sub Lord is placed in house, you are talking only half truth or half lies, because you must always check in which star this sublord is placed, before you pass judgements about any issue related to the cusp. In this case, suppose the Mars would have been in star of Mercury, then the results would have been quite contrary to what you mentioned. regards, Bhaskar. @gro ups.com, sujata das <sujatadash1@ ....> wrote: > > Dear Bhasker > If mars is cuspal sublord of 7th or 10th house, then its neither good for marriage nor profession. Guest guest
Dear Sri Bhaskar, I quite appreciate your analysis of Mars in 7th. In traditional astrology, there is unnecessary threatening about Mars in 7th. In KP system only, we are able to analyse threadbare with the help of Star, Sub, Planetary positions of malelefic planets in desired houses. Thanks, Astrologically yours, K.S.V.Ramani - Bhaskar Thursday, October 16, 2008 7:40 PM Re: Badhaka - What is the best position ? Dear Shri Ramanaji, // What would be the result if in a chart, Mars is not CSL of 7th, but posited in 7th in the star of 7th Lord. Would it harm marriage any way? // ( I am not an authority to reply any such queries in the presence of great Masters like Tinwinji, Shri Yogesh ji, Shri Raichurji, Shri Swamiji, Shri Gondhlekarji , Shri Kanakji, Shri Rajeevji, and many other such great people of their cadres whose names I may have missed and who adorn this great Forum . My humble attempt though with pranams to these Masters ) - The answer would depend on many factors. 1) If Mars is positioned in a badhaksthan which may be the 7th, or as the badhakLord for any ascendant placed in the 7th, then it would produce badhas with regards to marriage, whenever it gets power as a dasha lord or antar lord. 2) Now there is another factor which has to be taken in consideration - Mars is owner of which houses in the birth chart ? 3) The third factor is, the 7th Lord represents which other house in the chart , as the owner ? 4) The fourth factor is, where is the 7th Lord placed ? Thus we will have to check what Mars represents, and what does the 7th Lord represents in order to gauge the actual results of whether Mars would be harmful, harmless or positive . Especially results may differ, when the 7th Lord has ownership of evil houses in the chart, or benefic houses in the chart. The same stands for Mars. Thus there can be no hard and fast rule for anyone to judge what Mars can effect, being placed in the 7th in the star of the 7th Lord. best wishes, Bhaskar. , "Ramani" <kadavasalramani wrote:>> Dear Mr.Bhaskar,> > What would be the result if in a chart, Mars is not CSL of 7th, but posited in 7th in the star of 7th Lord. Guest guest
Dear Shri Ramanaji, You are right partly. But in traditional astrology too, there are many rules for Dosha bhanga, but in this busy world most of the astrologers do not have time to see the " Dosha Bhanga " areas. Earning Quick money, 2 minute noodles, 5 Minutes stirrable Chicken Soup from packets, is the order of the day. The times are changing. KP astrologers are still a better lot. Otherwise normally people pick up just the Mars house placement in the chart without looking at the other factors and Lo and behold the smart and intelligent astrologer is quick to exclaim and announce " Sir this kundli has a Mars dosha " . After some money changing hands, the Mars dosha goes to " Babaji ke ghar " , and the sanction is given to the couple to " go ahead and marry " . We acnnot blame the astrologers wholely. Not many enquirists have the time, capacity to sit for few hours, or the inclinations to pay a comfortable sum of fees as remunerations, so what will the astrologer do ? He has to finish as fast as he can, to serve the next customer. regards, Bhaskar. , " Ramani " <kadavasalramani wrote: > > Dear Sri Bhaskar, > > I quite appreciate your analysis of Mars in 7th. Guest guest
Dear Sujataji, What You are talking is utmost confusing and mixed up, and you are confusing me too along with yourself. We will take the sequence of what you started - First You wrote // // If mars is cuspal sublord of 7th or 10th house, then its neither good for marriage nor profession.. ..Death cannot be avoided. // Then I wrote // One cannot say the above without checking the star of the Cusp Sub Lord // Next You wrote // If there are no planets in mars star then ofcourse its bad. Is it not? // Then I wrote // I did not quite understand what you mean by this. When you take Mars as the Cuspal Sub Lord of the 7th or 10th, and have to decide what would be the effects, of Mars, then You got to see in which star is Mars placed, and Not the other way round. // And now you reply // When no planets are in mar's stars, it becomes a primary significator of 12th house // Madam Sujata, what You are talking goes over the head. Theres no relevance in any mail to the previous mail. Unnecessarily sticking to some point does not make any sense. How can you judge the effects of any Cusp SubLord without checking in which star it is and what the star owner signifies. Till now you have been only harping on the tune of Mars-Mars- Mars and Mars only. What happened to its star ? Or is it not there in any star at all, in Your ideas ? Are you sure you want to relate the ffects of Mars individually or as a cuspal SubLord Lord ??? You have now come up with a 4 step principle without having understood the basics of KP initially. From where on earth have you brought the 12th house now ? Which ascendant are you talking now ? Who is the owner of the 12th Cusp ? Which chart are you talking now ? Kindly excuse me. regards, Bhaskar. , sujata das <sujatadash1 wrote:>> Dear Bhasker> When no planets are in mar's stars, it becomes a primary significator of 12th house> Regards> Sujata> > --- On Thu, 16/10/08, Bhaskar bhaskar_jyotish wrote:> > Bhaskar bhaskar_jyotish Re: Badhaka - What is the best position ?> > Thursday, 16 October, 2008, 6:54 PM> > > > > > > > Dear Sujata,> I did not quite understand what you mean by this. Guest guest
Respected members, Sir, As a student of astrology I would like to offer my comments on this topic.Let all of us clearly understand that these are thoughts of a student and so might be immature. Mars is considered a symbol of physical voilence, aggression -both physical as well as psycological- and to a great degree represents lack of tender emotions. In married life these characteristics are undesirable as those are likely to ruin the marriage. 12th house stands for shaiyya-sukha, 1st house for one,s nature/character,4th house for happiness at home and homely affairs, 7th and 8th houses for sex-related matters. All these houses can be spoiled by Mars, its characteristics are not conducive to these houses. This, I believe, must be the reason why we call it Mars, Dosha. In traditional astrology it is considered that a planet strongly gives " Phalams " of the house it occupies, and so Mars is not desired in these houses. I have not read the " Readers. " Has our revered Guruji anywhere said that MarsDosha does not exist? In my opinion, in KP, only the method of judging the Mars, Dosha may differ. We consider that a planet strongly gives results of its Starlord. So the positions in which mars happens to be a strong significator of the above houses should be considered similar to mars dosha. Comments and corrections from veterans and students alike are welcome. regards, sujat. , " Bhaskar " <bhaskar_jyotish wrote: > > > Dear Shri Ramanaji, > > You are right partly. Guest guest
Dear all, No planet is good or bad. They behave benefic or malefic only as per what they are supposed to give us , as per our purva karmas. Giving justice to Mars, I would say that without a averagely strong Mars, one will have difficulty in creation or procreation. The agression of Mars, is certainly necessary in the right levels , for one to copulate. Karma ( Action ) is denoted by Mangala. Remember where does the Mars get exalted in the natural Kundli ? In the 10th house of Saturn, Capricorn. Saturn certainly loves to reward those who do their Karmas properly through its ownership pf the 11th, Aquarius. Karma brings welfare. karma is kartavya. Without fulfilling ones Kartavya ( Duties ) one cannot be happy in life. Wherever one finds dispute in land, property, loss of affinity with brother or wife, the result is due to amangala. A shubh Mangal is " Rinantaka " or tne ender of rins ( Debts ). Shubh mangala is related to earthly possessions and stands for everything produced from the earth ( Bhoomi). Karma connotes to the idea of 'sangram'. For instance challenge of Life. Karma arises from " Kama ". Under tamoguna ( Tamo nakshatras ) it will lead to blind impulsive actions, bloodsheds, might to win, actions to yield power etc. An ashubha mangal represents obstructions to fulfillment of Kama. It denotes loss or seperation from wife or husband, imcompatibilities in relations, partner, and not in good relations with brothers. Remember that the 8th house is denoted by the Sign Scorpio owned by Mars, a highly mystical and sexual sign , denoting secrecy . Therefore Mars, is certainly related to Sex, but pure or clandestine, open or secret, with wife or with paramour, powerful or powerless, will all depend on the strength or affliction of Mars. Therefore as such Mars cannot be ruled out for happiness in a married couples Life, and the knowledge which comes from the traditional Rishi Munis , is without doubt, a great treasure for us. best wishes, Bhaskar. , "sujatkaram" <sujatkaram wrote:>> Respected members,> Sir,> As a student of astrology I would like to offer my comments on > this topic.Let all of us clearly understand that these are thoughts > of a student and so might be immature.> Mars is considered a symbol of physical voilence, aggression -both > physical as well as psycological- and to a great degree represents > lack of tender emotions. Guest guest
Dear Bhaskar and all First I would like to thankyou all participatory members to hold kp system in .But unfortunatly we sometime belive traditional side because of lack of knowledge about cuspal system as krishanamurthi driven car. Bhaskar <bhaskar_jyotish Sent: Saturday, 18 October, 2008 2:06:36 PM Re: Badhaka - What is the best position ? @gro ups.com, "sujatkaram" <sujatkaram@. ..> wrote:>> Respected members,> Sir,> As a student of astrology I would like to offer my comments on > this topic.Let all of us clearly understand that these are thoughts > of a student and so might be immature.> Mars is considered a symbol of physical voilence, aggression -both > physical as well as psycological- and to a great degree represents > lack of tender emotions. Guest guest
Dear Mohankumarji, Cuspal system is easy for any one to understand if one has studied the Traditional properly. But for a person to straightaway go to learning KP, he is going to get no where, without a Live Guru. And the process of learning always goes on, and never complete or perfect, so at any stage, one is a learner. Believeing in the Traditonal is not unfortunate, but rather paying obesiance to the Elders of the family. And remember that Parashar Traditional is the Milk, and Kp is the churned cream, so no one method is independent on its own. None good KP astrologer will look down upon the Traditional, and always respect it. regards, Bhaskar. , " B.Mohankumar B.mohankumar " <b_mohan_mohan wrote: > > Dear Bhaskar and all > > FirstI would like to thankyou all participatory members to hold kp system in .But unfortunatly we sometime belive traditional side because of lack of knowledge about cuspal system as krishanamurthi driven car. > > > > > Bhaskar bhaskar_jyotish > > Saturday, 18 October, 2008 2:06:36 PM > Re: Badhaka - What is the best position ? > > > Dear all, > No planet is good or bad. Guest guest
Dear Mohankumar, As per K.P.,Mars causes 'dosha', popularly known as Mars Dosha, only if Mars is in Sun's star or own star and occupying houses I.II.IV,VII,VIII & XII... This is strictly as per K.P.,as taught by our late Guruji himself... With kind regards, L.Y.Rao. B.Mohankumar B.mohankumar <b_mohan_mohan Sent: Sunday, 19 October, 2008 7:36:22 AMRe: Re: Badhaka - What is the best position ? Dear Bhaskar and all First I would like to thankyou all participatory members to hold kp system in .But unfortunatly we sometime belive traditional side because of lack of knowledge about cuspal system as krishanamurthi driven car. Bhaskar <bhaskar_jyotish@ .co. in>@gro ups.comSaturday, 18 October, 2008 2:06:36 PM Re: Badhaka - What is the best position ? Guest guest
Dear Sir, L Y Rao, I failed to understand why Mars posited in Sun's star and occupies any of the houses I, II, IV, VI, VIII or XII. will produce Mar's Dasha. Will you be kind enough to explain please? With respects. Dr. Luther Rath. Yogesh Rao Lajmi <lyrastro1 Sent: Monday, October 20, 2008 8:21:24 PMRe: Re: Badhaka - What is the best position ? Bhaskar <bhaskar_jyotish@ .co. in>@gro ups.comSaturday, 18 October, 2008 2:06:36 PM Re: Badhaka - What is the best position ? Guest guest
Dear Sri L.Y.Rao, In a Birth Chart, Kumbha Lagna native, Mars is lord of 3 and 10 (not a bad lordship) is posited in 7th Bhava and very close to VIII (within 3-30orn with another planet in 8th iwitn self strength, Mars is in the star of Sun at 6th. But Mars is in the sub of Venus, Yogakaraka in 5th, in the star of Jupiter lordof 2nd and 11th in 10th. Will this position cause Mars Dosha for the native, (Male chart) and if so what should be position of the Mars and other planets in partner's (gitl's chart?. Kindly enlighten me. Astrologically yours, K.S.V.Ramani - Yogesh Rao Lajmi Monday, October 20, 2008 8:21 PM Re: Re: Badhaka - What is the best position ? Dear Mohankumar, As per K.P.,Mars causes 'dosha', popularly known as Mars Dosha, only if Mars is in Sun's star or own star and occupying houses I.II.IV,VII,VIII & XII... This is strictly as per K.P.,as taught by our late Guruji himself... With kind regards, L.Y.Rao. Guest guest
1. This rule is not taught by Guruji KSK but written by by T.R.RAGHUNATH-MADRAS-44. (Pl refer Msg#10694 of this group) 2. This rule is satisfied in 14% of one-time married 103 charts and only 11% of 26 two-time married charts, 26% of four-time married charts and 7% of five-time married 15 charts and so not reliable.
