Guest guest
Sir, When you are right, you are right! Now the next step: How can we solve the problems that exist on this site of the Divination board? As I see it and please pardon my naivite or ignorance, but most of us Jyotishis are a bit 'on the edge' and some of us have rather short fuses :-( We get 'provoked' rather readily, as we all have seen hundreds of times, no matter which forum or board we are experiencing that 'snapping' of Kurma Awataar! None of us are perfect, none of us cannot even claim to know a lot, let alone ALL of Jyotish, and yet we all get upset when we pose our observations and theories and when questioned, the Tandav Nritya begins! Are Jyotishis by natural selection supposed to be like this? Dancing more to the tune of malefics in our behaviour and attitudes or should we tune into and bring more into our expression and perception the qualities of the benefics? Please understand me correctly. I am not trying to 'lecture' this august gathering or trying to be 'holier than thou', but there is this vitriolic distrust that does exist and gets expressed when Jyotishis interact, at least publicly! Then again, in all fairness, most of us are not really professionals or full time jyotishis, but I have seen the same kind of 'sensitivity', mistrust, defensiveness in those who claim to be full time professional jyotishis. On the internet and a few handfuls that I have studied, off internet. I wonder if Durvasa muni was a Jyotishi? Does anyone know?? Guest guest
Thanks for your kind empathetic words. It is more disappointment than anguish. By the way there was an unintentional typo in my message. I meant to write //side// instead of [[site]]. , " gopalakrishna " <gopi_b927 wrote: > > Sir though i understand your anguish i am also helpless may be like > you..... > regards, > gopi. > , " rohinicrystal " <jyotish_vani@> > wrote: > > > > Sir, > > > > When you are right, you are right! > > > > Now the next step: How can we solve the problems that exist on this > [[site]] of the Divination board? > > > > As I see it and please pardon my naivite or ignorance, but most of us > Jyotishis are a bit 'on the edge' and some of us have rather short fuses > :-( We get 'provoked' rather readily, as we all have seen hundreds of > times, no matter which forum or board we are experiencing that > 'snapping' of Kurma Awataar! > > > > None of us are perfect, none of us cannot even claim to know a lot, > let alone ALL of Jyotish, and yet we all get upset when we pose our > observations and theories and when questioned, the Tandav Nritya begins! > > > > Are Jyotishis by natural selection supposed to be like this?
