Susutra, the father of surgery conducted cataract, cesareans, artificial limbs,

fractures, urinary, stones, plastic surgery, brain surgery, etc.

Anesthesia was in use in ancient India.

Many Samhitas are eating dust in old libraries, like Original Parashara Samhita,

Parashara Samhita has described about the ancient astronomy related to Planets,

even Rig-Veda has enunciated about planets and trajectories and it ie Rig-Veda

also has talked of characteristics of Planets which we do use in astrology

now-a-days.

 

Rig-Veda have talked of how planets affect Human-Beings. Other works like of

Babylonians (Assyrians mainly) have been indulged in rectifying trajectories of

planets but base of trajectories of planets is already described in Rig-Veda

means of 3 spherical system (for Su, Mo cominedly), 4 spherical system, means

one more sphere for epicyclical motion of planets ( for Ju, Sa, Ma), 8 paths of

Venus and Nine Paths of Mercury.

 

Now anybody may imagine from where Astronomy and Astrology took birth.

 

Ayurveda :-

 

I dont have to talk of Ayurveda means from where it emerged, but one written

Samhita which we know is Charak Samhita ( Charak Samhita is the latest surviving

Samhitas of India and its date is just before of Paninis work means around of

700 BCE, God knows what would be original works of Ayurveda and when it took

birth)
