Guest guest
Jaya JagannathaDear Bivash,NamasteSince you have asked on several occasions about worship, the following extracts from Jyotisharnava Navanitam has more insight than most. This book contains instructions given by lord Shiva to Parvati.I am going to type in iTrans, hence if you copy and paste it to the software, you should be able to read the sanskrit and transliterations:pa~nchame bhR^igusa.nyukte chandreNa sahitethavA|tAbhyA.n dR^iSTe vA putre stridevopAstimAdishet||127||meaning: the 5th house occupied by Venus or Moon or if the 5th house is in drishti with the 5th leads to worship of feminine deities.pa~nchame pu.ngrahayukte pu.ndevopastimAdishot|lagnAdhipasya mantreshe mitre tadvai samAdishot||128||meaning: Worship of male deities is indicated if the 5th house is occupied by masculine planets. If lord of the ascendant and the 5th lord are friends, it leads to worship of the alliance.pa~nchame bhAnu sa.nyute sUryasha.nkarabhAjana.n|chandretathavidhajAte yakShiNI devatA bhavet||129||meaning: If Sun occupies the 5th house, it leads worship towards Surya or Lord Shiva. Moon in the 5th causes one one to worship YakShiNii (Moon in the 5th causes one to worship a demi goddess i.e., if Moon conjoins a malefic in the 5th, worship of the feminine deities tends towards the tamasic).skandho vA bhairavo vApi bhauma sa.nbandhavIkShite|upAsyA shAradA saumye viShNu syAt sAtvIkI gurau||130||meaning: The subject will worship Skandha or Bhairava if 5th house is occupied by Mars. If Mercury occupies it, it indicates worship of Saraswati and if Jupiter occupies the 5th house, it denotes Vishnu.chAmuNDI pa~nchame shukre shmashAnanilayA shanau|rAhuketuyute tatra parapIDanadevatA||131||meaning: Chamundi is the deity if Venus occupies the 5th house while Saturn in it denotes a deity that dwells in a burial ground. Guest guest
Om Brihaspataye Namah Dear Guruvi and members, Namaste THANKYOU!!! :) This is a Divine coincidence as I was reading Sanjayji's article on the DasAvatara yesterday and I became hungry for more knowledge regarding worship. Before I discuss my chart, just a few questions: 1)what do you mean if the 5th house is in dristi with the 5th? I dont understand that. Are you speaking of rasi dristi here? 2)what is worship of the alliance? does that mean worship of both deities representing Lord of 5th house and Lagna Lord if they are friends? 3) when you speak of the vargas and exaltation and own sign, are you still referring to the 5th house in vargas? My chart details: DOB: 1 February 1985 TOB: 12:14:40 pm (rectified) POB: Stanger, South Africa I dont have JHORA at work, but if my memory serves me correct: I have natural 5th house Leo which is unoccupied. Graha dristi by Saturn (occupying natural 8th house Scorpio). I will have to get back to this Hari bol!
