Guest guest
OM namo bhagavate vasudevaya My attempt at lesson 11: Q1: Predominating Tattva in the Lagna of my chart? My Lagna is Scorpio which is a Jala Tattva sign. Lagna Lord Ketu is in Aries an Agni Tattva sign. Saturn, a Vayu Tattva planet, is in the Lagna. There is no clear predominance of any of these Tattvas in my lagna. Q2: The fact that Rahu is exalted in Taurus implies that Jala Tattva Rashis are better for moksha and spirituality while Prithvi Tattva Rashis are more suited to the fullfiment of material desires. Rahu signifies materialism and insatiable desires. He feels most comfortable in Taurus. Therefore Taurus favours the enjoyment of the senses while Scorpio is well known for its ability and urge to explore spiritual mysteries. Similarly, Rahu does well in Virgo and Ketu in Pisces. Ketu is not exalted for matters of longevity because, as moksha karaka, he is not interested prolonging the physical existence. He wants just the opposite: To end physical existence for good. Q3: Moolatrikona and Svaskhetra are planetary avasthas or conditions of planets. The best condition for a planet is exaltation, the worst debilitation. Moolatrikona is the second best planetary condition, svakshetra the second best. A planet in exaltation is extremely happy, one in Moola trikona is very happy and one in svakshetra is happy. Two examples of the bebefits bestowed by planets in Moolatrikona and svakshetra are Rajiv Gandhi with the Sun in Moolatrikona in Lagna and Nehru with the Moon in svarashi in Lagna. Both were charismatic people who achieved national and international fame. Regards, Anantarupa
