Dear Ramdasji,

we can extend it for other vargas eg, if enemy planets are

in 2/12 or 6/8 in D9,it will affect marriage.In D10 Job etc.

It seems that the principle is to ensure bad house + enemy.

If we extend it to vargas,then even if planets are well placed

in D1,they may be in bad placement in some varga.Thus justifying

Sandhi Shanti in all cases. I think even if friendly planets are

in 6/8 houses but in the sign of enemies so that bad house and

Tatkalik-enemy are ensured,it can give bad results as per transits.

What is your experience?

 

If possible,can you share some charts who suffered even in case of

Good placement?

My view is since houses are defined by Sun's movement

in uniformly one direction,multiplication is better.

Another view may be for visible(1-6H) and invisible(7-12H).

 

Now you called it Ritu-Lagn.When lagn changes in one hora/ghati

we call it Hora/Ghati lagn.So Ritu-Lagn should change in one ritu(60

days).

So it is not applicable for half speed. suppose if we give some other

name

then also there is a problem.How will you decide which day is first

and which is second?

 

If we extend this logic,we can have mas-lagn changing in 30 days and

varsh-lagn changing in 360 days.Sun and Jupiter are already there!

 

Mangal completes one revolution when moon completes 25.This comes

closer

to Ritu lagn but mars has very irregular speed due to retrogration.

However, we do have very irregular weather so it may be explored.

I understand that char-karkas indicate Brahma but what is indicated

by say Char,sthir and Naisargik Pitrikark and 9th from them?

Drig/Rashi Dasha variation

 

Dear Robert,

What is given by Narasimha is commonly used for Drig-Dasha.

But there are variations too.In general,most variation in

Rashi-Dashas for year calculation can be grouped into 3 types.

(1)Uniformly 9 years(Natural).

(2)Fixed 7/8/9 years(Sthir)

(3)Nathanta years(Char)

So we can use any duration based on what we are looking.

We need to understand the meaning behind 3 progressions and 3

durations.

 

Another clue for planet is Dasanta years. Since Nath is owner

of sign,Das is sign.So count till its sign instead of 6th lord.

 

Some people also use Udu-Dasha years in Nakshatr Lagnadi Dasha.

They find Nakshatr-Lagn for each planet and proceed like

Rashi-Bhukt-Dasha from that Lagn.

Visti: Chandra Kala Nadi states that when Saturn is over

Chandraamsa, this is one of the worst periods,

where the native is falsely accused and has a bad

reputation. this is related to the degree-transit.

 

Anil: Do you mean Chandraamsa in any sign? then every 40

month marriage problems and every 36 months job troubles!

Are you using Chandraamsa Tulya Rashi? C.S.Patel used this.

 

Visti: You must consider both. The Cancer Transit will

show the actual sade sathi/kantaka shani results,

whilst the varga transit will give the exact

timing of the transits intensity. So start with

the Cancer-transit.

 

Anil: If one is good and other is bad.eg.

Saturn -- 17 Cn 16' 02.22 " In Leo Dashmansa.

(1)cancer is say 11th house in D10.

(2)cancer is say 5th house in D10.

What can we predict in above 2 cases?

Dear Lakshmiji,

Lakshmi: 2nd house is always about sustenance

or marakatwa, indicating that first a particular event

has to happen, then only the 2nd house will come into

play. if marriage itself does not happen, what relevance does

2nd from UL have?

 

Anil: It may also indicate break in love/engagement(not sure).

 

Lakshmi: the dictum that whatever is applicable from the lagna is

 

applicable from AL and the converse is also true.

 

Anil: This dictum is for Karkansh not for Uday-Lagn.

There also some variations are possible. Will you see

Isht-Devta from 12th house from AL?If you have another

dictum,please quote.

 

Lakshmi: Sun and Ketu are never malefic for matters

relating to marriage.

 

Anil: As per BPHS Chap. 12, Sun is also malefic in 2nd from

UL unless in Leo or benefic-owned-signs.Even exaltation is bad.

Dear Sanjay Prabhakar,

Qu 1. what is the result of planets in

Marana Karaka Sthana but having exchange of signs?

eg. Shani in Kark-Lagn and Chandr in Kumbh(8th).

 

Qu.2. If Mars joins Shani in above case.Will it give

Manglik effect? Do you advice marriage of such native

when Shani is transiting Kark?
