Guest guest
Dear Sarajit-ji, Hare Krishna. Jaya Sri Sri Guru-Gauranga! >I do have a Gita, but that is in my home and now I am living in hostel and >hence it is quite inaccessable. It will be a favour to me if you send me the >electronic version of Gita as you have offered. I am sending you the Gita in a separate mail - it will come from the name of Sundarananda.ids. It is not me - I am just adding you as a reciver, so you don't have to answer to that address. I don't send it over the listbecause it is over 1 Mb zipped. Whomever else need it can write to me and I will add you as receivers. It is a DOS program - simple and nice, with simplified Sanscrite verses transiterations, word meaning, translations and purports by Srila Prabhupada. It has nice search facilities. It BBT copywrite but was distributed free of charge, so I think my sending it will be no problem. It is nice that you are so enthusiastic about worshiping your Ista Devata who appeard to be Lord Visnu or Lord Jagannath. To all good advice that has been given to you by Sanjay Prabhu and others I can add only that while waiting for the proper time to start worshiping Him with His mantra and worshiping your dear Kali Ma you can also chant the Hare Krishna Maha-mahtra. While mental japa definitely requires observing strict rules and regulations, this you can do any time in any circumstances - even when in the bathroom. You can chant it softly, so that only you can hear it or sing it to some nice melody you like (fortunately you can sing it to practically any tune under the sun). And when the time comes you will add to this manasa-japa of the Names of the Lord. Kindest regards, Yasomatinandna das
