Guest guest
JAYA JAGANNATHA! Dear Gurudeva, Pranaams! NAKSHATRA ASSIGNMENT JANMA NAKSHATRA (Moon's position) - Mind - MRIGASHIRA 4th Pada (Scorpio Navamsha) Ruling Deity: Chandra (Moon). Tara, the wife of Jupiter was seduced deceitfully by the Moon. Out of this relqation, Mercury was born. Jupiter refused to accept Mercury as his son in the beginning. Later on the personality and the charming nature of Mercury forced Jupiter to accept him ahs his son. This shows how powerful is the Moon to arouse egotism in human individuals. So Moon makes my mind also enchanting and attractive to others. Ruling planet: Mars. This gives determination, makes me strong-headed, and somewhat agressive emotionally. Mars if fiery and Chandra is watery, so the miximg of the two creates a typical Pitta mindset: strong emotions, but easily rises to anger, also easily forgives. Symbol: Head of a deer or eye of the coconut. A deer is also a very enchanting animal, as Sita Devi was also enchanted by a golden deer, who was actually the sage Marica. This indicates the habit to become enchanted and fall into illusion because of the mind's want for happiness. A deer is also artistic and aristocratic, and the head represents wisdom or smartness. The eye of the coconut reminds of yajnas, where the demigods are invited into a pot of water topped with a coconut. This indicates attraction towards and proficiency in Vedis rituals, yajnas, pujas and so on. Guna: Tamas. This makes the mind inert, not wanting to change its situation, and makes it difficult to keep up alertness while meditation. May cause friction in family and public life, looks to be negative externally form time to time. Meditation is the solution, it will be better after 40 years. Yoni: Napumsaka, Serpent. Males with Napumsaka yoni belong to warrior group (I did some sports and martial arts) or can be menial servants (I serve my Guru), makes me stubborn. Gana: Deva. Makes the mind comewhat calm and pious. Not intended to cause harm to others. Varna: Servant. Likes and needs guidance, although not easy to guide because of Mars ruling the Nakshatra. According to Mukunda it is Shudra caste. Color: Silver-grey. Likes this color to some extent. My electrical gadgets (watch, Laptop etc.) are of this color. Body part: Eyebrows. Most expressive part of my body, makes my sight strong and causes big influence on thoe ones on whom I throw my glance. But eyes are weak, so there is some tension also in this area. Rajju: Siro (head), makes me proud. Nadi: Pitta (makes mind active, agressive). Quality: Mridu (mild): My mind tends to become sensitive towards the feelings of others. Mouth: Adhomukha (face downwards). Makse my min d pessimistic when I face failure. Eyes: Mandaksha (small or lazy eyes). My eyes are weak, and I often times tend to have narrow thinking. Tattwa: Vayu (wind) The mind can easliy grasp different subjects, but not easily fixed on one thing. Svara (syllable): Ki. K is Brahma-akshara, grants fame and knowledge, and I bestows nectar, imparts knowledge and makes able to couteract black magic (I like philosophy, and I have also helped to some peple suffering from curses and bad spirits) Articles ruled by Mrigashira: Fragrant articles (I like fragrances), garments, aquatic products, flowers, fruits, gems, foresters, birds, beasts, those who partake of the soma juice in sacrifices, musicians, lovers and carriers of letters. I had something to do with all these things during my life. According to Brihat Samhita, one born under Mrigashira Nakshatra becomes fickle, clever, timid, eloquent, industrious, wealthy and endowed with sensual pleasures. LAGNA NAKSHATRA (Ascendant's position) - Intelligence - MAGHA 2nd Pada (Taurus Navamsha) Ruling Deity: Pitaras (Forefathers). Makes the intelligence respect the tradition of the forefathers, and follow the authority of Guru and Shastra. Ruling planet: Ketu. Makes the intelligence spiritual, able to discern between truth and untruth, reality and illusion. Both rulers of Janma and Lagna Nakshatras are fiery. This brings activity into disposition both mentally and intellectually. I think a lot and use my intelligence a lot. Symbol: Palanquin or forehead of a lion. A palanquin indicates a majestic person, who has high thoughts, or his intelligence is directed by high ideals and values. The forehead of a lion also indicates a royal disposition, gives power to the intelligence, makes me uncompromising, but also liberal, tolerant and benevolent. Mukunda gives a house as the shape for this Nakshatra, it may indicate the desire for hoilstic world-view. Guna: Tamas Intelligence may be attached to certain ways of working, new sets of values are not accepted easily. Yoni: Female, Rat. Men with female yoni are good scientific researchers, cooks and dealers with metals. They are subordinated often times, and need proper guidance. Gana: Rakshasa. Inteligence is adept at technicalities, and finds soultion to any problems, not rejecting any istruments. Intentions may be questionable sometimes. Varna: Sudra. Makes intelligence faithful, law-abiding and lazy in some cases. According to Mukunda it is Vaishya caste (business and farming). Color: Ivory or creamlike. I like this color very much. It decreases my stress and helps to relax and concentrate, and use my intelligence clearly. Body part: lips and chin. These body parts are very descriptive to me. I understand the most about another person by observing his lips and chin. Some kind fo physiognomy. I noticed myself often to automatically watch the mouth of the other person i'm talking to. Rajju: Pada (feet) makes my intelligence busy fulfilling the desires of others. Nadi: Sleshma or Kapha (makes intelligence stubborn, difficult to change) Quality: Ugra (fierce). Intelligence sometimes tends to become merciless, although the mind is tender, so I'm usually sorry afterwards. Mouth: Tiryka Mukha (curved face): Makes my intelligence tricky to some extent, able to adopt. Eyes: Madhyaksha (medium eyes). My intelligence has average breadth of thinking. Tattwa: Agni (fire). Makes intelligence very active adr resolute. Svara (syllable): Me. M indicates mother, so makes me responsibel and nurturing. E is Saraswati Beeja, bestows Vidya (knowledge) and Siddhi (success in good actions). Articles ruled by Magha: People rich in gold and corn, granaries, mountaineers, those who are devoted to parents, traders, heroes, carnivorous beings and women-haters. I had to deal with all of these. i think we often use our intelligence to help others in their problems.
