In such a case, why are we wearing the Gems? Swee: The Devas who find their abode in those gems will curse the bearer of the gem. Read up on the famous Diamond stolen off the deity's eye. In the case of the Blue Diamond, it looks almost black to me - Rahu's sarpa dosha was caused to each heir. Furthermore, as Sri Gauranga also put it, that when one steals the Gem, the diety refuses to give results and instead can give Maraka results. Doesn't this mean that Gem is not governed by the wearer's karma? Swee: The auric resonance from the gem remains with the original owner. The blessings from a gem is always just that of the Devas etc who took off with the parts of Bala asura's body. In the case of Ruby, we know it was Surya who manage to get a hold Bala asura's blood, even when Rahu came and tried to thwart his path. This is also confirmed in Jataka Parijata. I have written this before where Sun has the power to nullify all the negatives produced by other planets including Rahu. The slokas will be included in my book. If I delve in deeper, supposing a person wearing a Yellow Sapphire goes and murders someone, what would you think: 1. That Yellow Sapphire was not a pure one and did not have effect. 2. That Yellow Sapphire was a pure one and he did the right thing for upholding the dharma. 3. Now the effects Yellow Sapphire is destroyed and its diety has left it and the gemstone which was alive earlier, is now dead. If such is the case, wouldn't the diety return if someone decent was to wear the same stone? 4. Or is it that the diety never returns to the gemstone again? And why is that? 5. Why was the diety in there for the first reason? Who is this diety? Why was he in the Gemstone? Swee: If the gemstone is of jytoish quality, the Deva will always find his abode in it. It is the person who is causing the murder and not the Deity. The auric resonance remains with the gemstone. The person who inherits it will have the residual effect of the owner's doings. The diety who resides in the yellow Sapphire is Brihaspati/Jupiter. If you go through my article again, you will find that even Devas request for a gemstone to be made in their image and to be given to a brahmana for offering prayers. I have found more on the offering of the upayas in padma purana. The Upaya is always offered to a brahmana. Merits are tenfold with this Upaya. Who is more powerful - the Gemstone or the Human Being? Swee : The gemstone of course, or else most of us would not be suffering for a beautiful gem. The merits are detailed in several puranas!! Devas all fougth in one way or another for their own celestial ratnas and the ratnas offered to both humans and murtis are their physical aspects of each of these grahas' energies. Bala asura ina former existence offered penance for 1,000 divine years. He was so refulgent through his penances that Rudra even tried to kill him because he was afraid that Bala (strength)'s spiritual strength and might would take over his.........
