Guest guest
Namaste friends, Just wanted to share this small thought with you: All of you may have seen Jagannatha Hora Lite and its logo which splashes shortly whenever you open the program. Some comments on its design: The background is the famous " Rath Yatra " of the Jagannath temple of Puri. Lord Jagannatha is taken in a ceremonial procession in a rath (chariot), which is famed for being unstoppable. Our guru Sanjay *Rath* is from near Puri. He is an unstoppable " Rath " (chariot) from Puri who carries Jagannatha to the masses. So the organization SJVC named after Jagannatha is like the " Rath Yatra " (Jagannatha carried to masses by Rath)! Jagannatha Hora is from this organization and that is what the background says (SJVC logo on the top left corner says it more explicitly). The picture on the right side of the logo (superimposed on the rath yatra) is the idol of Jagannatha at Puri. The chart on the left is supposedly Jagannatha's chart (Sri Krishna's rasi chart). Colors of various squares are the natural colors of rasis as per Varahamihira. The clock in the middle of the chart formed with Sun & Moon entwined together is a symbolic representation of " Hora " . Sun & Moon are the measures of Time and a clock with Sun & Moon denotes that. Moreover, the science of light " hora " (aho+raatra = day + night) comes from Sun & Moon anyway! So the logo picture on the whole represents " Jagannatha Hora from Rath's SJVC organization dedicated to Lord Jagannatha " . May Jupiter's light shine on us, Narasimha
