Guest guest
Namaste Supriti, I can't believe that you learnt the definition of Narayana dasa only a few days back. Your interpretation of your Narayana dasa is very competent. One additional point: Lagna is Brahma sthana and 7th is Shiva sthana. Narayana is with the stronger of them. So Narayana dasa rasi shows where Narayana is at a particular time. Narayana shows the environment you are placed in and Narayana dasa rasi shows the influence of the environment. How a native reacts to that environment is seen from the nara (rather than Narayana). Lagna stands for nara (man). If dasas start from lagna, then Narayana dasa rasi itself shows nara. Take that as lagna and analyze the chart. If dasas start from the 7th house, then Narayana shows the progress of 7th in life and nara is then in the 7th from him. In your case, dasas start from 7th (Vi). So take the 7th house from dasa rasi as lagna and analyze the chart. This will show how you will react to your environment. OTOH, if you take the dasa rasi itself and the influences on it (w.r.t. the natal chart), it shows the influences and environment you find yourself in. I will try to interpret my Narayan Dasa from the 7th house from dasa rasi as lagna.
