Dear Sweeji,

Wishing you a GREAT vacation.

I had been reading the discussions/books in astrology for the past

few weeks and I feel very fascinated to astrology. Actually, we are

spending most part of the day in reading books related to astrology,

other time in temple and recitation of mantra.

I feel very relaxed in this daily routine (previously I used to be

very workaholic and never thought, i would resign my job and sit at

home and do poojas/mantras and go for astrology).

I am not attending any job interviews. Although my parents want me

to find a job in my hometown itself.

Since, my lagna lord is in 12-th house, and I would prosper in a

foreign country (whenever I say this - my parents gets sad).

I recite Adityahridayam stotra in the morning.

Sweeji, please guide me, whether it is okay, and also, is there any

procedure to be adopted, while recitation.

One question : You have told that, a better opportunity for job is

from next week. Please do not mistake me and forgive me, if I am

asking something which should not be asked. Could you please tell

me, how were you able to tell this.

Another question, which may be a blunder. But, I wanted to ask this

to a learned person. When I looked into my chart, I feel, when Rahu

started transiting thru my 8-th house, I had to face more problems

in life. When I saw my D-10 chart,I could see that, I resigned my

job, when Rahu started transiting in the 8-th house. Could you

please comment on this.

Sweeji, please forgive, if I ask some wrong questions.

Expecting a reply from you, once you are back.

Thanks,

Sitara

Dear Sitara,

Namaste

Between your Dasamsa and Siddhamsa, Dasamsa is stronger due to retrograde

Mercury. Unless your endowment is such it allows you to sit and study, I

would get back to work pronto :) !!

Rahu's transit in your 8th (+/- 2 years ago) in rasi equates to its entry

into Simha which is your 12th house in dasamsa and has 3 malefics in 3rd

from AL. Rahu's exit from your 8th equates to the 3rd house in your

dasamsa, which is 6th from your AL. This would have been bad where your

initiatives are concerned as Scorpio is your 4th house with gulika, GL with

A8 and A6. Scorpio is the third house in your dasamsa and the parakrama

house in Dasamsa in exchange with Ketu and Venus (2nd and 3rd houses in

exchange).

Saturn is not good in the 12th house, but Mars gets VRY and is also co-lord

of the 3rd where initiatives are concerned.

But this is too much a generalization and we should really be looking at the

sensitive point of Rahu in your rashi. Rahu is at 12 degrees 41' in

Sagittarius, which equates to 17 deg 19' which puts Rahu in Aries in

Dasamsa. For transit Rahu to begin touching this sensitive point, watch for

the 24th Jan 2006 onwards until 5th March 2006.

One must look at transits of Saturn, Rahu/Ketu and Jupiter, Venus etc from

natal Moon and not just Saturn and sade sati, kantak-sani, astama-sani etc.

likewise, Jupiter's position in the 2nd, 5th, 6th, 8th, 9th and conjunction

with natal Moon generally indicates some foreboding. But if your functional

benefic/lagna lord intervenes, these bad indications will go unchecked. This

makes more sense or else a general statement for sade sati means 7.5 years

of constant bad which is not the case. The faster moving planets will also

have a say in this.

Do refer to the tables of inauspicious transits from natal Moon.

Dear Swee,

Referring to following statements in your mail.

2. Rahu's exit from your 8th equates to the 3rd house in your dasamsa.

The transit analysis for Rahu in your mail is very interesting. Rahu (being

in retro motion) while passing through Pieces enters through Leo dasamsa and

exits through Scorpio. Is this the way transits through divisional charts

should be seen? Honestly I would have taken Rahu as passing through 7H in

D10!

Another query is regarding " Jupiter's position in the 2nd, 5th, 6th, 8th,

9th and conjunction with natal Moon generally indicates some foreboding " .

can you throw some more light on this? I thought transits through 2,5 and 9

are considered good and others no so good.

Dear Ramesh,

Namaste

Let's refer to the Dasamsa chart again.

Rahu in Pisces: 30deg. = Leo; 27 deg Can; 24 deg Ge; etc. each is given 3

degrees, right? So exit is through Scorpio Dasamsa. Rahu trajectory is 18

months so each 3 degrees equates 1.8 months. Honestly, I'm happy you learnt

something from me ;-)

I was using vimsottari as a dasa system, so I would consider transits by

using Moon as the pivot.

with natal Moon generally indicates some foreboding.

Re: [Jaya Jagannatha] - Thanks Sweeji

Thanks,

Sitara

Dear Swee,

I have learnt many things from you and would like to continue to do so.

Before asking a question, one often hesitates because of fear of exposing

ignorance amongst many but reminder from an article titled 'stay hungry -

stay foolish' helps!

Thanks & Regards,

Ramesh

Dear Ramesh,

Namaste

Let's refer to the Dasamsa chart again.

Rahu in Pisces: 30deg. = Leo; 27 deg Can; 24 deg Ge; etc. each is given 3

degrees, right? So exit is through Scorpio Dasamsa. Rahu trajectory is 18

months so each 3 degrees equates 1.8 months. Honestly, I'm happy you learnt

something from me ;-)

I was using vimsottari as a dasa system, so I would consider transits by

using Moon as the pivot.

Satyam Bruyat Priyam Bruyat

Dear Swee,

Referring to following statements in your mail.

1. Rahu's transit in your 8th (+/- 2 years ago) in rasi equates to its entry

into Simha which is your 12th house in dasamsa

Love,

Ramesh

RE: [Jaya Jagannatha] - Thanks Sweeji

Jaya Jagannatha
