Hare Krishna, Jaya Jagannatha.

I'm attempting to give answers to all previous lessons. Here is attempt on lesson 7 about Sayanadi avasthas. I'm interested if explanations of Sayanadi avasthas can be interpreted in the way I did it. I took positions and signification's of planets and tried to connect it in some way with states by activity of planets. Is this way of interpreting of Sayanadi avasthas (and some other avasthas also) correct. Does anybody have something to add?

1) Consider our Gurudeva Pt. Sanjay Rath's birthdata (7.Aug.1963, 21:15 (IST), 88e58, 21n27).

Find the activity related avasthas of all the nine planets in his chart. Give the standard results and comment on the strength of different planets.

Moon nakshatra is Shatabishak, M=24. Lagna is Pisces, so L=12. If we calculate ghatis we get G=40. Number for the name Sanjay is 4.

Sun; SABHA avastha, medium power.

Meaning; help others, possesses wealth, gems and lands, virtuous, very strong, affectionate and kind.

Meaning; equal to a king, interested in poetry, arts and music.

Saturn; SAYANA avastha, medium power.

Meaning; hungry, thirst, diseases in childhood, wealthy later.

Rahu; AGAMA avastha, little power.

Meaning; financial losses, fear of enemies and litigation, depressed, separated from own people, emaciated, manipulative.

Ketu; PRAKASANA avastha, little power.

Meaning; wealthy, righteous, lives abroad, enthusiastic, genuine, serves the king.

Brief explanation;

Sun is in a Sabha avastha which give him meaning as mentioned above. Sun is in a 5th house (Cancer, lord is Moon) associated with Venus. Friendly house for Sun, but Venus is not in friendly sign. 5th house is house of knowledge, intelligence etc. So, Sun is connected with meaning of this house, he is also connected with meaning of 6th house (he is the lord of 6th house). Sun by his position in Sabha avastha helps others and possesses wealth etc but I think that this meaning will be connected by houses where Sun is posited and with the house which he rules and of course other signification's and aspects etc. So, Sanjay will help others with his knowledge, he will possess wealth in the form of knowledge and intelligence (children or disciples).

Moon is in a Prakasana avastha. Moon is lord of 5th house and is posited in 12th house (Aquarius). So, Moon will act through these houses. Maybe he can give fame in other countries due to the knowledge and learning.

Mars; will give partnerships with disciples (connection with 7th house and A5) and Sanjay will be like king (Guru) between them (meaning of the avastha, and Mars is also lord of 2nd and 9th house).

Mercury; Sanjay will also help enemies and others...

Jupiter; he is posited in lagna in his own sign and he is also good posited in some divisional charts although he is debilitated in few of them. I also noticed certain connection with Mars in divisional charts through drishti (like in rashi chart), parivartan yoga or conjunction. So this can give great results and attainment. Jupiter will surely give a lot of general happiness in the life, religiosity and it will counteract all evils. Jupiter is also lord of A10 and he is posited there. I suppose that this is also indication for teacher or Guru.

Rahu; he is pretty negative in this avastha but it has minimum power. I suppose then that this negative power will be at minimum. All this is happening in the 4th house of mother and house (or home). Nodes are in exaltation, so they can give material success, and we can also see Vipareta Raj Yoga (conjunction of Venus and Sun in trines, lords of dushtanas).

Ketu; Ketu will give very good results. He is in exaltation and in good avastha. Career of Sanjay seems to be very successful.

Maybe I will be learned and known as scholar among partners and students. But it seems to me that I will wait for this for quite some time.

Moon; Moon is in 12th house and rules 6th house. It will give good results (virtuous) through his signification's, which is (I think in my case), some sort of mental isolation or closeness. Results of this can be bad, but also good (introspection and meditation).

Mars; is the lord of 3rd and 10th house and is posited is his sign (Scorpio) in 10th. He will give great impact in career.

Mercury; lord of 5th & 8th and posited in 6th (Cancer). Meaning of this avastha for Mercury is simple "poor". Mercury means discrimination or intelligence, so, I suppose that discrimination is poor and I can be easily cheated by enemies.

Jupiter; lord of 2nd and 11th and associated with Ketu in 8th (Virgo).

Venus; lord of 4th and 9th and posited in Gemini, 5th.

Saturn; lord of 12th and 1st, in Aries (debilitated), 3rd.

This planets, except Saturn, are by his activity pretty negative. There is fear and troubles that it may be noticed in meanings of all this planets (Ju, Ve, Rh, Kt). Also, ulcers are mentioned (that's true, because there is much pitta in my body and this bothers me sometimes). Due to all this there will be some financial problems ( maybe problems with relationships in family and with society, partners, friends etc...) and problems in learning, education (intelligence and concentration)... Jupiter is lord of 2nd & 11th, he is posited in 8th with Ketu and Rahu is posited in 2nd. Venus brings some problems with intelligence & knowledge (5th house), he is lord of 4th and 9th (is Venus he or she?). Saturn is in 3rd house and his activity is that destroys all enemies etc. Because 3rd house is house of communication and courage Saturn can give sharp and unsparing but truthful speech and power in debates and argumentation. This can be true.
