Q1. The next question is which Graha should be given the over-lordship of

this twelve-fold division or the twelve signs of the zodiac and why?

I would say the Sun, since the Sun is considered to be the naisargika

atmakaraka and is the planet which sheds light on all other planets in our

constellation of 7 planets.

Q2. Make a schematic representation of the Earth, Bha-Chakra with its 12

spokes and mark out the areas of Nara & Narayana.

Since the Saptama-dwipa, the 7 continents of this earth represented by the 7

grahas are recognized as the 7 perceptible influences on man's life in this

martya-loka or the world of birth and death, it would be reasoned that the

rasis which contain planets are within the area Nara and the empty rasis are

within the area of Narayana. Since the perceptible area of Nara falls within

the radius of the 7 grahas and Nara is imbued with tamas whereas Narayana

contains no tamas, and tamas is identified as destruction, or death, which

karaka is Saturn, saturn is the graha on the edge of the area of Nara and as

such the rasis lorded by Saturn are the edge of the bha-chakra while the

rasis lorded by Sun and Moon represent the center of bha-chakra. This is

also the reason why Sun and Moon lord over only 1 rasi while other grahas

lord over 2 rasis in the Zodiac. I remember having read this somewhere also,

but it seems to me logic to come to this conclusion in this way.

Please correct if I'm mistaken.

Your servant,

Dhira Krsna dasa
