Om Krishna Guru,Date of Birth: April 18, 1971Time of Birth: 7:30:00 amTime Zone of Birth: 5:45 East of GMTLongitude of Birth: 87 E 51Latitude of Birth: 26 N 29+----------------------+| | Sun | BL | || | | | HL || | MerR | Asc | || | | | Mnd || | Sat | Glk | ||-------------|---------------------------|-------------|| | | || | | || Ven | | Ket || | | || | | ||-------------| R A S I |-------------|| | | || | | || Rah | | || | | || | | ||-------------|---------------------------|-------------|| | | | || Mar | | | || | JupR | | GL || Moo | | | || | | | |+----------------------+SUBAPATI: Jupiter KARTA: A planet associating with one of the 3 lagnas (Asc, Hora or Gatika) is called Karta.In my chart Rahu aspect GLMoon and Mars aspect HLJupiter aspects Asc. Therefore all the planets have become Kartas.

Comment: Jupiter is not aspecting Lagna. I think you are considering graha drishti (Planetary aspect), as per lesson, we have to see the Rasi drishti (sign aspect). You mentioned all planets are kartas, but, Mars and Saturn are not aspecting lagna, GL or HL and they are not the lords of these lagnas. So, the kartas are: Venus (Lagna lord), Mercury (Lord of HL and GL), Rahu (aspects Lagna), Ketu (aspects Lagna), Moon and Mars, both aspects HL and GL.

KEVALA:If Subapati becomes a karta he is called KEVALA. Jupiter is Kevala.

Comment: Since, Jupiter is not a Karta, there is no Kevala. YOGADA:If a planet associate with the ascendant and one other lagna (HL orGL) it becomes a yogada.No Yogoda. KEVALA YOGADA: Kevala planet aspecting the Ascendant becomes Kevala Yogada. Jupiter aspect the ascendant, It's kevala yogoda.

Comment: When there is no yogada, there cannot be a Kevala yogada. When a yogada planet is Subhapati then that planet is considered as Kevala yogada.

Here, even if we consider your assumption that Jupiter is aspecting Lagna, there is only one relation ship. You have taken this relationship and considered Jupiter as the Karta. Then, again you considered the same relationship by saying "Kevala planet aspecting the Ascendant becomes Kevala Yogada." This is wrong. To become yogada, the planet must have an association with Lagna and HL (or) Lagna and HL. MAHA YOGADA: No Maha Yogada. Also no Kevala Maha Yogada.
